Yes, for all the good it would do. The U.N. is a failed experiment. i think it should be disbanded. Unfortunately the only "pressure" they seem to understand is the kind Israel applies. |

Yeah, Hamas is really creating problems, but they aren't gonna listen to the UN. |

Everyone should do everything they can to get rid of Hamas and Heszbola too for that matter |

No, I think the UN should pressure Israel to get out of Palestine, ages before Hamas appeared Israel was committing war crimes in Palestine, I think all the Israeli war criminals should be presented to the war crimes court in Holland for a trial, and they should be prisoned for the rest of their lives. Hamas appeared only to resist the oppression of the Israeli occupation. |

If Israel doesn't listen to the US, why the hell should Hamas?
No, I do not. The UN did not punish Israel and US when they tried to overthrow Hamas...didn't do anything when Gaza was blockaded in and didn't do anything when Israel raided Gaza on NOV 4, 2008. |

yes because it seems like Israel is a nation which acts when they are threatened. so if hamas is a threat then they will be taken out. |

To go where? No other Muslim community wants their radicalism. No other Muslim country wants the their kind of Islam spread among their people to lose their seats.
No one openly supports Hamas. They love having them on the Israel border.
Go where. The only way to lose Hamas is to realign the goals of Palestine from killing all Jews and building a productive society.
Perhaps the citizens of Gaza have learned that.
It looks as though they all still support Hamas though and that will lead to more war.
They are asking for more. |

why should hamas leave gaza, thats their home, the UN should get up and kick the israelis out of all of palestine, they are the invaders |

It would be wonderful in the UN could pressure Hamas to get out of Gaza.
Israel's leaders have purposely obscured their war aims in Gaza. But there are only two possible endgames: (A) a Lebanon-like cessation of hostilities to be supervised by international observers, or (B) the disintegration of Hamas rule in Gaza.
The UN has not been known to make wise decisions in their resolutions. It may be better if the UN were not in existence. |

Hamas leaders have already fled to Damascus.
Most of the militia that are left are nothing more than an unorganised group.
Before the war Hamas boasted up to 30,000 fighters (more than Israel) but most have disappeared. |
