Two words: Hell No! It's everyone's land. Arabs, Jews, and Christians all have rights to be there.
Free Palestine! Israel tricked and decieved in order to build illegal settlements. Hope the Jewish people know that the Christian people believe that all jews will go to hell unless they convert to Christianity. |

Some argue that the bad caused by the displacement/victimization of the Palestinians by the Jews and the powers that be was negated by the good it did. Namely giving the Jews a homeland.
It depends on your point of view. Was the Bad caused by the creation of israel negated by the Good it did???(Giving the Jews a homeland). |

Why America? Jews should get out of Palestine and go back to Europe.

Jews have always been more than welcomed in the land, and they were never enemies until new Zionism appeared in the beaning of last century!
Their claim :
1-Historical: Claiming to be first nation lived Palestine and before Arabs, which makes no sense because Canaanites were the first ever known tribe lived that land! And Canaan in Arabic language means "Low land".(Not Hebrew language ok!)
Jews or Israelis left Jerusalem while Muslims and Arabs defended it and liberate it from all foreign attacks! I prefer to die in my land than run away and live in Europe or anywhere else and that is the only prove that it is my land (I hope you all get my point)
If they have the right to claim for Palestine (Even if what they say is true) Then Muslims have the right go claim for Spain and Portugal which they ruled for centuries and where ever you go in Spain you can see Muslim sites and old cities are still there! Also Albanians can kick Serbs Bosnians and Croats out of all Balkan because they got and lived there first! And the same goes for many other nations and civilizations, so just imagine what kind of mess this childish thing can create in the world!
The funny thing about the historical part is, that they claim that this land was empty when they came, ignoring all historical facts that shows the great Islamic civilization in Palestine!
They can dig where ever they want but they will never find that fake temple!
2-Religious : This is the funny part by the way lol. No one can speak about that better than Mr.Dedat :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNF954u6qPo
Israel is just an extension for British and western occupation, which divided Arab and Muslim countries from one country to many little states and planted in each one Dictators who will make sure no Muslim will try to liberate Palestine or even speak against Israel!!!
To the Jew below me:
Edit:Jordan,Palestine,Lebanon and Syria where one country called "Alsham" Take a look at the borders of these countries on the map and you will see no natural curves! Islamic state was all the way to Spain and Portugal and Balkan...
And during the golden age of Islamic state :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_Golden_Age
At the end of Fatimi rule the state started falling apart! And Turkish came ruled Palestine and Muslim world as occupations! The population was still Arabs (Majority Muslims
Hey Britain own middle east? With force only but the resistance was tough from native Arab people who refuse to run away like Jews did and they stood for their lands and died for it! |

No. One could cite many reasons but foremost we have before us their despicable and brutal exercise of power. No one is less qualified to administer the Holy Land. They should be ousted and a pluralistic government created based on religious and ethnic equality. This not only an ethnocracy,it is a very dangerous and cruel one. |

yes. israel is israel not palestinian land. anyways israel wasn't officially established until 1947, but it was always the jewish homeland. palestinians are arabic and have a bunch of other countries they can live in. judaism only has one homeland and if i lived in israel and was told i had to move to america i would be disgusted to be told to leave my homeland becuase it's other peoples land. |

I can see you are new at this. As well as confused.
Study both sides before you choose.
Israel never meant to displace anyone. the Arabs would have been allowed to stay and would now outnumber the Jew if they had.
They left because the Arab country's told them leave or die with the Jew. Some stayed and are doing well. While Gaza and the WB filled with Arabs from other countries.
First there was Judaism, Then came Christianity. Thousands or hundreds of years before Islam.
Mostly they were Jew or Pagans before Moe had his dream.
Study up some. |

I have gained a new appreciation for Bob Dylan
Neighborhood Bully by Bob Dylan
Well, the neighborhood bully, he's just one man,
His enemies say he's on their land.
They got him outnumbered about a million to one,
He got no place to escape to, no place to run.
He's the neighborhood bully.
The neighborhood bully just lives to survive,
He's criticized and condemned for being alive.
He's not supposed to fight back, he's supposed to have thick skin,
He's supposed to lay down and die when his door is kicked in.
He's the neighborhood bully.
The neighborhood bully been driven out of every land,
He's wandered the earth an exiled man.
Seen his family scattered, his people hounded and torn,
He's always on trial for just being born.
He's the neighborhood bully.
Well, he knocked out a lynch mob, he was criticized,
Old women condemned him, said he should apologize.
Then he destroyed a bomb factory, nobody was glad.
The bombs were meant for him.
He was supposed to feel bad.
He's the neighborhood bully.
Well, the chances are against it and the odds are slim
That he'll live by the rules that the world makes for him,
'Cause there's a noose at his neck and a gun at his back
And a license to kill him is given out to every maniac.
He's the neighborhood bully.
He got no allies to really speak of.
What he gets he must pay for, he don't get it out of love.
He buys obsolete weapons and he won't be denied
But no one sends flesh and blood to fight by his side.
He's the neighborhood bully.
Well, he's surrounded by pacifists who all want peace,
They pray for it nightly that the bloodshed must cease.
Now, they wouldn't hurt a fly.
To hurt one they would weep.
They lay and they wait for this bully to fall asleep.
He's the neighborhood bully.
Every empire that's enslaved him is gone,
Egypt and Rome, even the great Babylon.
He's made a garden of paradise in the desert sand,
In bed with nobody, under no one's command.
He's the neighborhood bully.
Now his holiest books have been trampled upon,
No contract he signed was worth what it was written on.
He took the crumbs of the world and he turned it into wealth,
Took sickness and disease and he turned it into health.
He's the neighborhood bully.
What's anybody indebted to him for?
Nothin', they say.
He just likes to cause war.
Pride and prejudice and superstition indeed,
They wait for this bully like a dog waits to feed.
He's the neighborhood bully.
What has he done to wear so many scars?
Does he change the course of rivers?
Does he pollute the moon and stars?
Neighborhood bully, standing on the hill,
Running out the clock, time standing still,
Neighborhood bully.

Jordan was created out of more than 75 percent of British Mandate Palestine.
Israel exists. Zionism is the desire for Israel, the homeland of the Jewish people. to exist in peace alongside her neighbors. There would be no war or bloodshed if attacks against Israel woud stop. It has been as simple as that for two generations.
I hope for the day when the Palestinian people will focus their energy and effort to live in peace alongside Israel in their own efforts to nation building, than to create yet another generation who focus more on nation destroying and promoting strife.
edit: As long as people "thumb down" peace, strife will follow. It doesn't have to be that way.

Shadi, what are you talking about. They don't need to dig to find the Temple, its in the middle of Jerusalem, the Capital city of Israel. Also, didn't divide a Muslim nation, because there never was a unified nation from northern africa to southern asia, that was all muslim, or at all or that matter, so please get your facts straight.
But I do believe Israel, deserves the Land, because there has been constant Jewish population there since its inception. Also, I'm pretty sure Israel, would have let most, of the Palestinians stay anyway, Its not like they force them to convert to Judaism (unlike some Arab Behavior...). Also, Palestinians do have some land, mainly the west bank. And they so fire Qasam rockets into Israel almost everyday, so how can you blame the Israelis?
Also they didn't actually take over the country, because at the time it was created Britain owned the middle east, so it divided the land how it saw fit, and neither Israel or palestine, owned the land at that time.
No I'm not contridicting myslef, Israel deserves the land cause they had it first and where always there, and Britain, had every right to give the land to Israel. |

israel belongs to the jewish people, was always theirs and will be theirs, here are important facts for you...
A common misperception is that all the Jews were forced into the Diaspora by the Romans after the destruction of the Second Temple in Jerusalem in the year 70 C.E. and then, 1,800 years later, suddenly returned to Palestine demanding their country back. In reality, the Jewish people have maintained ties to their historic homeland for more than 3,700 years.
The Jewish people base their claim to the Land of Israel on at least four premises: 1) the Jewish people settled and developed the land; 2) the international community granted political sovereignty in Palestine to the Jewish people; 3) the territory was captured in defensive wars and 4) God promised the land to the patriarch Abraham.
Even after the destruction of the Second Temple in Jerusalem and the beginning of the exile, Jewish life in the Land of Israel continued and often flourished. Large communities were reestablished in Jerusalem and Tiberias by the ninth century. In the 11th century, Jewish communities grew in Rafah, Gaza, Ashkelon, Jaffa and Caesarea.
The Crusaders massacred many Jews during the 12th century, but the community rebounded in the next two centuries as large numbers of rabbis and Jewish pilgrims immigrated to Jerusalem and the Galilee. Prominent rabbis established communities in Safed, Jerusalem and elsewhere during the next 300 years. By the early 19th century — years before the birth of the modern Zionist movement — more than 10,000 Jews lived throughout what is today Israel.1 The 78 years of nation-building, beginning in 1870, culminated in the reestablishment of the Jewish State.
Israel's international "birth certificate" was validated by the promise of the Bible; uninterrupted Jewish settlement from the time of Joshua onward; the Balfour Declaration of 1917; the League of Nations Mandate, which incorporated the Balfour Declaration; the United Nations partition resolution of 1947; Israel's admission to the UN in 1949; the recognition of Israel by most other states; and, most of all, the society created by Israel's people in decades of thriving, dynamic national existence.
“Nobody does Israel any service by proclaiming its 'right to exist.'
Israel's right to exist, like that of the United States, Saudi Arabia and 152 other states, is axiomatic and unreserved. Israel's legitimacy is not suspended in midair awaiting acknowledgement....
There is certainly no other state, big or small, young or old, that would consider mere recognition of its 'right to exist' a favor, or a negotiable concession.”The term "Palestine" is believed to be derived from the Philistines, an Aegean people who, in the 12th Century B.C.E., settled along the Mediterranean coastal plain of what are now Israel and the Gaza Strip. In the second century C.E., after crushing the last Jewish revolt, the Romans first applied the name Palaestina to Judea (the southern portion of what is now called the West Bank) in an attempt to minimize Jewish identification with the land of Israel. The Arabic word "Filastin" is derived from this Latin name.
The Hebrews entered the Land of Israel about 1300 B.C.E., living under a tribal confederation until being united under the first monarch, King Saul. The second king, David, established Jerusalem as the capital around 1000 B.C.E. David's son, Solomon built the Temple soon thereafter and consolidated the military, administrative and religious functions of the kingdom. The nation was divided under Solomon's son, with the northern kingdom (Israel) lasting until 722 B.C.E., when the Assyrians destroyed it, and the southern kingdom (Judah) surviving until the Babylonian conquest in 586 B.C.E. The Jewish people enjoyed brief periods of sovereignty afterward before most Jews were finally driven from their homeland in 135 C.E.
Jewish independence in the Land of Israel lasted for more than 400 years. This is much longer than Americans have enjoyed independence in what has become known as the United States. In fact, if not for foreign conquerors, Israel would be 3,000 years old today.
Palestine was never an exclusively Arab country, although Arabic gradually became the language of most the population after the Muslim invasions of the seventh century. No independent Arab or Palestinian state ever existed in Palestine. When the distinguished Arab-American historian, Princeton University Prof. Philip Hitti, testified against partition before the Anglo-American Committee in 1946, he said: "There is no such thing as 'Palestine' in history, absolutely not."
Prior to partition, Palestinian Arabs did not view themselves as having a separate identity. When the First Congress of Muslim-Christian Associations met in Jerusalem in February 1919 to choose Palestinian representatives for the Paris Peace Conference, the following resolution was adopted:
We consider Palestine as part of Arab Syria, as it has never been separated from it at any time. We are connected with it by national, religious, linguistic, natural, economic and geographical bonds.
In 1937, a local Arab leader, Auni Bey Abdul-Hadi, told the Peel Commission, which ultimately suggested the partition of Palestine: "There is no such country [as Palestine]! 'Palestine' is a term the Zionists invented! There is no Palestine in the Bible. Our country was for centuries part of Syria."
The representative of the Arab Higher Committee to the United Nations submitted a statement to the General Assembly in May 1947 that said "Palestine was part of the Province of Syria" and that, "politically, the Arabs of Palestine were not independent in the sense of forming a separate political entity." A few years later, Ahmed Shuqeiri, later the chairman of the PLO, told the Security Council: "It is common knowledge that Palestine is nothing but southern Syria."
Palestinian Arab nationalism is largely a post-World War I phenomenon that did not become a significant political movement until after the 1967 Six-Day War and Israel's capture of the West Bank.
