My name is very unusual. I'm proud of my name now, as an adult. Names can evoke pride, fear or just about any emotion.
I met a dog the other day whose name is DUKE. Duke's adult weight will be no more than 3 lbs. The name was chosen as a joke to evoke fear. My son and I had this conversation just yesterday.
We both agreed that to have my name you must be a very special, unique person. Just anyone can be named my name.
Think about it. The name Samson in the bible. He was strong. Does the name just saying it seem strong? SAMSON. |

No, I don't judge ppl by their names. But if somebody has a name that irritates me or that I don't like, but I like the person, then I make a nickname for them. |

No I don't think they are cool.. quite the contrary most of the time.
If someone has an eccentric name they seem to flaunt it more as if saying, "hey! I'm different!". I was walking out of marketing class couple days ago and I heard this girl saying her name.. something that was just three.. REA or some such pronounced REEEEEA. She sounded like she was proud of her name yet said, "Yea, my parents were freaks" hehehhehehe.
That was my latest experience anyway.
I also knew a girl name Odie once... she wasn't all too great either but that's another story. |

No. I don't tend to judge people at all. I try to accept them for who they are. I will continue to like them and seek out their companionship until such a time that they do something that will hurt me or someone I love directly, Their opinions dont have to be the same as mine their beliefs do not have to be the same as mine,. And their names defiantely do not determine their makeup |

Honestly yes. If I have an application in front of me, and no face to put it too. Yes. If someone named Rakisha Lashonda Jones's application is sitting next to me, my first thought is ok. High school education only, probably takes the bus, and her kids will most likely interfere with her ability to come to work on time or at all.

No, I don't judge them, but I do pay attention to people's names. I find that if your name is horribly generic or overused (ex.I went to school with 4 Jamies and 6 Jennifers) you don't seem to pay them as much attention. |
