No, I don't hate it. As a matter of fact I think it's sweet and endearing when my friends tell me their love secrets! hehehe Like a certain friend who has a crush on sawyer from the series Lost! loooooool She raves about him all the time (regardless of her hubby!) and I think it's adorable!
As a matter of fact, lots of friends tell me about their love stories and crushes and I enjoy playing the role of qady ilgharam! loooooool

No. In fact, her partner is a friend of mine too and I wouldn't mind if she talk about her partner so often that will burst my ears off because her partner has gone from school for several weeks already and I'm missing her.

haha yea i do hate it...but then i have to remember that when i had a boyfriend, all i did was talk abt him -.-
However, it's kind of insensitive of them (and was insensitive of me)...especially if you are unhappy at the time and feeling unloved by anyone and they keep talking about the sweet things their partner does!! grrr...but if they need help, I'll offer it...unless i'm already in a bad mood =)

Sometimes I do because sometimes I want to talk with my friend about us, sometimes I need to talk to her about something & Ican't do it if she started to talk about her partner.

OMG YES! I have this friend who is the most annoying person in the WORLD!! We had been best friends for almost 13 years and then like all of sudden, she TOTALLY changed. She went like BOY CRAZY and all she ever did was talk about herself and him, herself and him, EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!!!!! EVERY SINGLE DAY! She never asked about me, how I was doing. What I was up to? IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ANNOYING! and she said I wa the one who changed. When it really was her. So yes, this is mean, but I didn't want to be friends with her anymore. We stopped talking but our parents are best friends unfortunately and we see each other a lot more than we would like to. We still try to talk, but AGAIN, she starts talking about herself herself herself anf whatever guy she's with currently....

SHEESH! lol anyways tht was long.

If someone is constantly talking to me about their "love of there life" I don't mind and it doesn't bother me. Now maybe if i didn't have someone it would probable bother me to be constantly reminded that someone was happy and "in love" and i wasn't.....

No..it doesnt bother to me, bcoz I think that i have done the same sometimes. It's something common when we fall inlove, to try that everybody see our love as perfect as we see him.
You'll see when you fall inlove, and will understand why they are doing it now. Love is a wonderful feeling.

well not exactly....it's nice to hear my friend talking about her partner.."which rarely happens..'
i feel it's quiet amusing and happy to see my partner having something to be thinking about instead of feeling bad and worried...and even all the talking keeps me from boredom.
but when it turns to an obsession..... no oooow
that's when it starts getting boring and annoying...as if there's nothing to talk about but the same topic "my partner"

to be honest...it starts making me go like ," why don't i have a partner to be obsessed with ?!!! oh no i've got a lot to be worried about now ...his time will come later on.."

but here's an advise >>> as his friend...it's your dutty to listen to him, no matter how boring or annoying it might get...show him you're a caring and loyal friend.
not all people are the same....so maybe if you like to keep your personal thoughts to yourself...he doesn't -maybe he likes to speek out.
just try to talk to him in an indirect way and let him know about what you think.

I'm not sure if I have a friend that does this. Some of my friends do this when they are in the early stages of a relationship ... that dreamy, fairytale stage.

I'm usually the one that talks about my relationships ... and it does drive some of my friends crazy.

I hate it when my friend talk about her other friends. When I chose a friend I make sure he doesn't have any other friend. Yes this may seem selfish but I hate somebody shares me with my friends.
