I do not feel offended.
If someone has a different opinion and gives me a thump down because of this then I respect that.
If I feel that it is done as a game then I do not give it attention.

it depends on what type of the topic:

i don't feel offended, specially when it is related to politics or color preferences for example. because it is predict to have different views.

however i feel bad when people thumb down somethings are considered well-manners (and some time religously related).. i dont feel personally offended. but some kind of feeling as stranger with my own ethical set of values.

also when my answer is just an expression of personal experience. specially about social relationships i don't get it.

yes, there are many thumbs up , but the thumb downs go in a row , one after the other .
it is like someone enjoys doing it .
it's like playing on the piano.

i don't feel offended, nor bad. i don't show disrespect in any of my answers, nor they are rude. if someone doesn't like what i said, he/she has the right to his/her opinion. but of course, there are people who enjoy giving thumbs down from i don't know what reason.

Yes , i feel offended when there is no meaning for a thums down (answering a question about an address or a contact detail of a restaurant don't deserve any thumbs down)
