my hubby got a tattoo done in sharm he got my name written in arabic by a guy called luca who has his mobile tattoo gear and before anyone questions this... yes he was clean and everything was sterile in sealed packs and yes at least four people from our hotel had them done by him the hotel reception had his name and got booking for him he takes a photo of his work and uploads it all on to his web page...this was a couple of years ago so i have lost his web page addy but a friend of ours had one done in april this year by him so i know he is still around ...hope this helps

I Wouldn't Recommend It Unless You want to associate yourself with Punk Culture And If You do try to find a Clean looking place You don't want to get an Inflammation from a Faulty Piercing They aren't pretty

the not permanent tattoo is very popular especially among young people in the summer resorts,, The permanent one was very popular especially in upper Egypt, (did not you see Bahabic Ya Hassan movie : by Roshdy Abbazah),,, the piercing is not that popular although you see it among the crap young people, (sorry ),,, anyway, how many piercing do you have??

Plenty of shops with tatoos and piercings, and very weird and cool ones!! If you like 'em you should go there baby make 'em paint ya !

About Egyptians not so much, they got shops for tourists and i havent seen many tatooed Egyptians. Piercings yes, not many tatoos though..

Yes, i'd say they're fairly common. Although piercings are more common than tattoos. Henna tattoos are really common, though.

There are many piercing shops here in Egypt, although it's always safer to get them done in a clinic/medical center. I'm not sure there are many tattoo parlours, the people i know who have tattoos had them done abroad.

Yes, very much so. The hylographs of the gods usually sow them with necklaces, or jewels of some sort.

not really.. just ear piercings.. unless you are thinking of hanna tattoos.. i havent really saw alot of egyptains with tattoos and piercings other than thier ears... if you google arabic tattoos, you can see some.. but i havent seen them in real life.. and i've been to egypt a few times.

TATTOOING IS HARAM IN ISLAM

THERE ARE LOTS OF EAR PIERCINGS
MY MUM HAS 3 ON EACH EAR =]
