everyone is free ....including you... they are free choosing what they drink ... and they are responisble for it wether its right or wrong ... i see drinking is not that bad unless your gettin really drunk ... or addicted to it .... and your free not to pay for it ... you can ask them nicley .. sorry guys i cant pay for that ... because its not their right to make you pay for something against your belive and its not your right to tell them what to eat or drink ...

after experience .. i learned that if you are with someone who doesn't drink because it's in their religion , then you shouldn't drink either ..

one less beer won't make a difference ... why create unnecessary tension ..? even if the ones who drink are more than the one who doesn't .. you respect his wishes ...

I know Well its Not allowed for Muslims to Drink Alcoholic or even to be in some place With drinking
So when i go out with my Egyptian Friends i Never Order Alcohlic
And If you Going out in Company all of you Must respect each other tradtional
So you Must told them if you will be with them they Would better not to order Alcoholic

i was know many alcoholic and b4 i was join them after that enta 3arf el wa7d lma bykbr by32l so i began to say i'll not pay then they began to know that i don't like alcoholic with us so they stop order it or we stay on place don't offer it that's all if they want go out me they know there will not be alcohol

..it will be different if those friends are egyptian .... i will just leave them and go .

It happens to me from time to time with different ways.

* Once I said that I don't pay for alcoholics before we order anything and there was no problem.
* Another time my guest didn't know and ordered a glass of wine beside the food. I don't remember if I paid that or not, but I remember I said clearly that it's against my rules and I don't pay or stay on the same table with alcoholics.I stayed and my guest didn't order any more. By the way she was a very beautiful lady and I didn't feel it was hard to tell her that. Although she was embarrassed, she took it easy.
* Last time it happened to me I was on a boat in the middle of the Nile and all spaces are full. They were paying for the drinks and it wasn't easy to do anything. There was no space on the boat that I can go or do something.

* If they were Egyptians even if they are not Muslims, I would leave immediately as we know about Each other and there is no excuses.

In all the cases I will not drink as I don't drink and i'm against alcoholics whatever it is good, bad, sweet or has a good taste.

First of all.. The people who represent companies they Travel for business and not for leisure. Second people who represent companies learn how to behave when they are sent to a Muslim nation. In case that your Foreigner friends are so stupid and ask for Alcohols then it is wise to inform them that you are a Muslim and in a polite way say it straight that you will not pay for alcohols as it is forbidden for as a Muslim to pay or to be seated with them while they are enjoying their drinks. Mention to them that you are going to wait for them out side until they finish. Then just go out and wait to join them again , I believe that this lunch is a kind of work representation.

It is a sin to sit with people who drinks (according to Islam)

Foreigners or not ... i won't sit with them at all when they are drinking ... and if they are really my friends they won't drink at least while i'm with them .. and if they can't at least give me that.. then that's some friends i don't need .. end of story.
