i find this question sexually oriented and offensive, did you expect for some to tell you that they wear tight clothes mini skirts etc and describe the clothes ? and to tell you what kind of hair they have ? and you are also asking guys to describe what they see ?! how out of line

as for your question, Hamdulliah, i always take forward steps in my attire (btw, i used to wear hijab since i was in fourth primary :D, which means before adolescence )........ for example, i used to wear pants with short shirts on, then i decided to stop wearing pants and wear skirts instead (this is after seeing a "ro2ya" ), and now i'm in my way inshaa Allah to make my clothes more loose but still i'll wear skirts and shirts on :-)

Alhamdulelah i am used to wear loose clothes,since i wore hijab long ago,when i reached adolescence........... alhamdulelah.
i don't wear any trousers,for example,whether tight or loose.
and i don't wear make-up outside home......alhamdulelah
but also ,i don't wear a 7'eemar or niqab .......

It depends I dont normally wear hijab except when I am going to the masjid, visiting elderly relis and for special occasions.
Depending who I am working with and where we are located(I am attached to a field archaeology team) I may also were hijab.
I think wearing tight fitting dresses over jeans or pants or formfitting tops and a headscarf not only looks rather stupid and tacky but is not really what someone who follows Islam should be seen in.
I am astonished at some of the things I've seen many of the young girls wearing.I would have never worn the culture clash look even before I reverted to Islam.
I love fashion and spend way too much on clothes but wouldn't be seen in that "I'm wearing my wardrobe look" ever, it really looks so stupid.
One that stands out in my memory, was a girl in Cairo who was wearing hijab headscarf,jeans with a skirt over the top (never a good look) and a shot sleeved black tiny tee shirt with "I'm Sexy" written on it, over a long sleeved one.!

I'm not Egyptian but Im a Muslim lady!!!

I wear my hijab the right way i feel I don't like it when my hair is showing.

but here you do the judging I think I wear it all right!!! and no I dont wear tight clothes whats the point of weairng hijab if u gonna show ur body shape with tight clothing, haram to wear pants so I mainly wear skirts,and abayas!!!

well honestly, I witness both, modesty and cheapness.
they don't have to be veiled in order to be Modest, some are very modest without wearing the veil, but seriously, some are just so cheap than what you may ever think, I don't think they're too many, it's just that those immodest ones are too obvious, while the opposite ones are discrete and not willing to Show or grab attention.

Did you post the same question about Egyptian Muslim men? There are certainly more hadiths about what a male is wearing than females..

I hear lately that poverty has become such an issue in Egypt that there are now male belly dancers performing!

Perhaps its better to concentrate on real issues as your profile suggest you would like to improve Egypt- will this question do this?

There are many men and women that have been on the side of women rights for a long time and some of these great thinkers are women and in fact a highly respected one was was an Egyptian male

First of all I just want to thank you for asking this question. I am first of all born and raised in america which is not a muslim country. Yet I still wear my hijab with long skirts (No pants) and long loose shirts. Many girls here in America dress like that. When I went to Egypt this year (2007) I was shocked! Its a muslim country how can girls dress in such a bad way. They were many unislamic things, showing there body, wearing just plain WEird stuff. Egypt is a muslim country representing Islam , I think that whoever is raised outside Egypt is more islamic then whoever is raised in egypt. Which is something bad. I love my country!! And I want it to represent Islam in the right way. Not in this way. Another thing about these girls not only do they dress bad but they are always taling to boys joking with them. I never remember myself talking to a boy, and I am in my first year collge. But in Egypt the girls are way off track from Islam. Allah yahdeehom!! Thanx for asking this question maybe someone can learn from it!!
