i would always choose a dog, because i love dogs and have one.
about birds - i have a 18 years old parrot and he is very grumpy. you can never cuddle a bird. they don't like it because you get their feathers in a mess. but they can sing beautifuly.

if you want a pet to play with and to give you company, but also a pet that you can cuddle, then it is always a hairy animal lol.
either a dog or a cat. rabbits are also cuddly, but i don't know if they are attached to you as a dog or cat.

and, you don't have to have a big dog. it can be small or medium size.

u can get a cat ...as most of the other pets they take them out of their enviroments for our own entertaiment which is bad thing
but cats love living with someone in closed areas

be someone good and wait for the opp. that a poor little cat is left alone without her mom in streets..n u dun believe how often that happens !!
mother cats get killed everyday by crazy drivers...and take her home with u
dun buy persian nor romy or those stuff...i used to n then i regret it now as we encourage those ppl to treat animals like tools...just somethin would make em earn more money...

Definitely a cat and get it sheraz or sheraz+ romy and don't get any sheraz just sheraz "moonface" Once i was in ur shoes long ago i got a cat and I never regret this choice till now even now i have a cat ,it will be ur sincere friend when you feel lonely

Cats, Canaries or Small Birds, Parrots,Rabbits,Fish,Hamsters
In my opinion,I recommend Cat or Rabbit

I'm a dog lover and I owned a dog once, but I have to admit that dogs don't go well with apts. You have to have garden.
Cats are more suitable for apts.

Obama promised his girls a dog .
but one of the girls has allergy and wouldnt be comfortable with a dog that has hair .
the latest suggestion was a dog without hair .
follow this story in the papers , and get one like Obama's .
the problem with cats is that they tear the cover of furniture .
they run downstairs once you open the door .
they dont greet you enough .
get a dog that remains small .
