I agree. Sometimes we can naively wish for something that might cause us harm or that is just not right for us not knowing so till it is too late. I'm grateful that there are things I have wished for in the past did not come true because I have got a lot better than what I hoped for and now I know I would have been miserable if my wishes came true.

yes i agree you can wish for ex certain jop you do all your best to achiveit you see only her shine out side but when you go deeply you shall know its tired and broblems and can not change it you can judge things only when you leev in it

Yep, wished for nearly two years to have a chance with someone a like from a distance. One day I heard about cosmic ordering, so I gave it a try. Within one month the guy I had liked came chasing after me... we had an amazing relationship for 5 five months ten he broken my heart in the worst way.

Yes it happened to me once that i wished to work in a particular place and when i was in i wished i never was.
People was so bad, work was very very bad.
It was in the national institute of oceanography and fisheries (Alexandria Branch).
The only good thing happened to me there is that i had my first research done there and i published it in a Egyptian scientific magazine el7amdolelah.

i think maybe it is a god trying to tell you not to ask for to much and not take anything for granted. . and asking for something constantly leaves to ending but as to the ending of the granted wish

they will just pretty much do anything

maybe you want something so bad at point in time and you wish for it but when it gets there,you cant be bothered about it...like this girl i liked so much and wished she'd date me and she played around and when she noticed i lost interest,she agreed to date me but by then it was too late,i didnt even like her that much!!!!

Well, I'm not egyptian, but I've used this phrase and it's so true.

For instance, I wished for my son to have a lot of friends. Now he has many friends, but not the type that you would want your child to hang out with.

That's what the phrase means.

Coincidence. Think of all the things you wish for. There was that one time it came true, and your brain latches onto it because it's an anomaly. After that, whenever you wish for something, you'll unconciously be searching for something, even the tiniest thing, that makes it seem like it came true.

What does this have to do with Egypt?
