I have met people who support Palestine who are not as silly as those people you mentioned at that rally your link takes one too. However, generally speaking most who support Palestine in the United States are not very sophisticated about looking at the issues involved.

Sadly by promoting many Arab causes Americans, Canadans and others in the West are promoting war and continued useless deaths in the Arab-Israel conflict. They should be promoting a two state solution.

So because 'they would be executed' (no person has ever been executed for being gay in any Arab country btw, more propaganda) they should allow other people to suffer? well then, you clearly understand what human rights and human rights organizations are all about.

So women who support the Palestinians are so stupid- in your opinion- that they don't know what rights women have or don't have in Arab countries? You're hilarious, you claim that women 'have no rights' in Arab countries and yet you give no example of this at all, or is your example the usual 'women can't drive in Saudi Arabia', because- again- as I've just mentioned, some of us 'less intelligent folk' don't think that people who live in a particular country deserve to be punished for the wrongs of their system and their government.

edit: I'm not the one who's twisting the facts, you are. First of all you specifically said ''Arab countries'' not ''Islamic countries'' which means that Iran is not included, I didn't say that gay people have equal rights and I didn't say anything about their legal status, I said that no person has ever been executed by the state in any Arab country and this is in fact true. I am aware that there have been cases in Saudi Arabia where gay people have been imprisoned or even flogged, but executed following a court order- no. And I see nothing wrong with asking for statistics, after all- what's a more objective way to deal with a statement like that, which you give absolutely no evidence to support.

And btw the whole Arabs not treating women right is an almost fabrication, they might not be able to vote, but do Arab men? Like you say do we have free speech and press, Westerners put these dictators in power. How can we control that?

Btw: I'd rather be called a terrorist (someone who uses fear to get what they want) and if what we want is freedom I'm glad you call me that. Oppressor (someone who treats others in such a way they can't progress a normal life) is absolutely horrendous. Compromising anyones rights for your "security" is appalling. Do You Plan On Keeping Us In There forever? Eventually the majority will catch on, then what?

Palestine is:

If there wasn't people supporting the Palestinians they would have had the worst famine maybe in history. Israel has them so choked by the neck that they cant breath. So its good that the European and Japan and so many other countries send money to build schools and homes. I've seen first hand the difference between both states. Not to mention they give money to orphans and to households that don't have income. Its so sad women go to work in homes to clean and endure the households that are very scary to work in because there husbands are denied permits to work outside the west bank.
Don't get me wrong there are people who are Israeli's that work with the Palestine people but is rare. So when you say why there is aid sent to the Palestinian believe me its just for them to live, nothing more. About the women half the men who can get jobs work and the other half is women working, they have women right believe me. I'm teaching English language skills in one school in Jerusalem, the girls are ready to be doctors, lawyers, teachers, fashion consultants almost anything really. Its good hope is still around.

I support the Palestinians because I am a well educated woman in her 30's who was, at one point, engaged to an Arab man.
Further, I support the Palestinians because, as am American, I support my own Government who declare the land and returned it the rightful owners.

However, I can see both sides of the argument.

They are not Americans, they are Arab Muslims and part of the problem. They have no ability to tolerate anyone but Muslims in the Middle East, they don't care about Palestinian Arabs, their fuel what keeps them going is prejudice, intolerance, hate, greed, ungratefulness.

To any Palestinian supporters: Palestinians got owned by the British, since the British had to decolonize after the war, they decided to give some of it the Jews(with UN approval). If you retards think that Palestine should take over, try to convince the UN to end Israel. They won't be able to do it without a big war.

Yes I have and I have not found a good answer. Not here either. Even the Arab and Muslim nations won't give them anything but guns and rockets. They are ashamed of them.
I wonder if the Muslim women that answered you have husbands that know they are speaking publicly. Aren't Muslim women supposed to remain silent?
