Feel so lonely.....what should I do?

Me too, my habiby is all the way across the world from me!
I went out with my son and his friends till midnight and after the fireworks I caught a taxi home.
On the way home I was overcome by this huge wave of loneliness and it was so hard to hold back the tears till I got in the flat.
Then the tears of loneliness and missing him came down like a waterfall BAWWWWWWWL!
While i was blubbering into my glass of coke, I heard ringggg, ringgggggg,ringgggg the phone so I answered and there he was my husband ringing from Egypt to wish me home soon, and a Happy New Year.
He wondered why I was crying and got all concerned but all I could say was,I miss you, I love youuuuuuuu!

Hey sweetness, yr not alone, i am here with you, besides i am alone too, my husband is in Abu Dhabi and i miss him a lot so i do feel what yr feeling, still i am happy to be here on line with all of you so cheer up its a beautiful new year.

BTW guys i just sent u all a q saying happy new year and i got a violation notice, hmmmmmmmm My first violation notice in 2008 ;-)))))

@ H: i am so sorry to hear about yr husband, sweety we haven't talked in a while, i thought u were still abroad, but wallahi i wish i was in Abu Dhabi now, if you need anything sweetie, my husband is there he ll do his best to help u. You and your husband will be in my prayers isa everything will be alright.

You are not alone. I had to take my hubby to the hospital tonight of some heart problems. He has to underdo a heart surgery.

It was midnidht here in Abu Dhabial almost 3 hours ago. Do you have a clue how I feel? I do not only feel lonely, I feel lost.

We had a couple party invitations but canceld it.

Just look foward to the next year and maybe at 2008/2009 we both wil have a better time.

That said, if this holiday season finds you alone under the mistletoe, that doesn't mean your mood has to be lower than the box-office numbers for Snakes on a Plane. Boost it by finding a new mate over the break. Here's how.

Utilize the holiday party. Don't know if the hottie in accounting is flying solo? Go find out. Approach when he or she is with a mutual friend who can introduce you. Be charming and diplomatic, and drink carefully. Need some talking points? Ask the following: "Did you go on any fun vacations this year?" That simple sentence does three things--it easily breaks the ice (they can tell you about theirs, you can tell them about yours); it helps tip you off as to whether they have a mate; and it brings them back to a happy, fun memory--a feeling they now associate with talking to you. And if no magic hookup results? Flirting is still a healthy activity: A Harvard study found that looking at attractive people activates a pleasure center in the brain usually triggered only by food, drugs, and money.

Locate others who like to give. Experts say that when you're feeling down, it's best to surround yourself with people in some kind of social setting. Given all the group volunteer activities that are available this time of year, you could help yourself and someone else by donating time.
