Second, did you try putting on it baby powder? it helps take outsome of th eoil, no matter what dont rub it!!!

Also where is the spot located? is it a big spot? is it somewhere where you can place a broche or a piece of jewelery, can you drape a shal on it and it would not appear?

Go to the store- spineys or Monoprix, check out an oil stain remover detergant- they have them in small toweletts as well. Check it out girl.. I am sorry this happened!!!

If stain persists, re-apply and re-wash. "

Well, I'm answering now (tomorrow relative to the question), so I suppose your problem is already solved lol. If you wore the dress, I'm so happy for you. If you didn't, I don't think it's a big deal there are more in life than an engagement dress. Yes, I know it's frustrating, but think of it that way.

If I answered yesterday I would have answered with a question. It depends on who's engagement party you're attending.

And one more thing. What Ismaily meant is that Fatma would look pretty regardless if the dress was stained or not. Not that PRD wouldn't, but Fatma has other means of distracting people (for example like flirting with a Kifta stick: Hey babe? wanna taste my lips? Oh, I love them round and firm - I'm talking about Kifta here)...

I know my answer isn't much of a help, but still... it's the best I can offer.

Spray fair amount of any insecticide on the oil spot, then leave it for 15 minutes.. after than.. wipe the spot with some wet piece of cloth..

After than iron the dress in this spot putting a tissue under the iron and a tissue from the other side...

Use an odourless insecticide.. we don't want you to smell Methanol in the engagement...

it depends on how long you have dropped the oil stain...if the stain is dried up, get some spray dry cleaning can and spray the spot and leave it like it says on the can then brush it off
if the stain is still wet, put salt on it (yes, this is a thing that always work on any fabrics)

Rub some dishwash liquid into the stain, leave for 10-15 minutes, then hot wash (60-65Ā°C) using your normal laundry detergent. If any stain remains, repeat the process.

The heavy-duty liquid detergents or aerosol sprays are more convenient and effective. Work the full-strength heavy-duty liquid detergent into the stain or spray with the pretreatment product, then wash the garment using hot water (if safe for fabric), the recommended amount of detergent for a regular laundry load, rinse, and inspect before drying. Repeat this treatment if removal is incomplete the first time.
