You have posted this same thing on other boards. You have not been scammed, your husband found you living with another man so he left you.

Think about what distroyed the marriage instead of lying and posting on the internet that you were scammed. It's easy to make stories up but the truth hurts.

Hope you wake up and do some self assessment.

If you mean the old immigration scam, you need to tell more detail. There are a handful of variants on this one.

Be carefully with man and women not only from morocco......

this is happening with alot of people ....young and old ....search....ask questions .....

if they are not able to get a visa themselves to usa " WATCH OUT "

it is best to know someone and thier family first
becareful with the dating / marriage sites online ....

just be care fully to the conversations .....ask alot of questions and ask for proof of whom they are

Pls be careful here,not all Moroccan men are scammers,cheaters, players,users,losers,and money or visa seekers,Im Moroccan,Im not like this,and Im sure there are millions like me and millions unlike me,so just dont generalize,you can find bad and good people wherever you go in this fair wide world,sometimes you're just unlucky and you meet the wrong faces.

There are good and Bad people who use the internet, some men are good and some just use women to get into a better country. Look at the things he askes you... use your common sense and always listen to your gut feeling. If he thinks its cool that you drink and go out with friends to night clubs or things like that then he dosnt sound to right and you should be careful. Read about the Moroccan Law and get an understanding of what is right and wrong in there culture. You should ask him alot of questions and see his reaction. I wish you good luck.

You have already posted this question on the Canadian Immigration forum. And the immigration guru there said that you would be responsible for your husband for the remainder of the duration of your sponsorship.

I am very sad for you. But relationships fail all over the world, men leave, women leave. It is the same anywhere around the world.

I am happily married to a Moroccan. But as I said before, my situtation is different from a lot of people's situation since I have known my husband for 2.5 years and waited 18 months before I married him. I applied the same rules to our relationship as I would any other relationship in Canada.

As it was sad here not all Moroccan men are scammers. I however would not trust any I met over the internet and had intention to marry me, and probably would have to be very head over hills to even marry any Moroccan here in the US that did not have his own green card without my help. I am happily married to a Moroccan who was completely legal here in the US before I met him, through the years I've seem a lot of Moroccan men who married with Americans, few of them I can say they married purely for love. Mostly the ones who were here illegally married Americans, the majority here legally went back to Morocco to find a wife and bring over here when they decided to marry. But that is not to say that many who married at least partly by convenience did not stick around. I know many who obviously married primarily for papers but after many years are married and with kids. I guess they learned to truly love the women they married and both live happily. Now my thinking is that if you even remotely suspect a scam, you shouldn't be with that person. Hope I don't offend anyone, not my intention, just my opinion based on my observations being around the Moroccan community in my area for the past 11 years.

i have never actually been scammed but they have tried numerous times to scam me. if they are emailing you just report it as a spam message...but if youve let it get pass that and you actually are asked to send money or to cash a check...take the info to the bank they can handle it...i know this because a friend of mine was mailed a money order for 15000 dollars...and was asked to cash it...for her to send them back 10000 in us dollars to their account. we took it to the bank for the bank to check and see if it was real...it wasnt. the bank notified the police in the other country and hopefully the scammer was caught.

I have been warning women since yahoo answers started to stay away from Moroccan men they met online, or who they in there country that did not resident and work visas or greencards. But they never listened, so for the 427 woman who has posted this question. I say again, you have been warned many times, you didnt listen, now you have to pay for it.

Now i wait for 428, since it is guranteed to happen again

my friend she is slightly disabled, she is moroccan but born in UK like me. she is 23 and wanted to get married she went over to morocco and found herself a husband, he was very very handsome and good looking nd it was a little wierd taht he would be interested in her becuase of her physical disability... but she fell in love with him
he was wonderful to her and treated her well... when he came over here and got his papers and citizenship... he said to her i wouldnt dare be seen dead with you andivourced her.
arab men know how to play teh part and put on the charm and make a women feel special... even the most inteligent women. its a fact of life...
the amount of time sthey have tried it on with me, tehy say all sorts teh crap tehy spout... and they say they love you and all this junk. hahahaha
so what i do when i go i dont speak any english and so they wont realise im from britian. and i wear cloths that is not to western. some girls are such suckers..
im sorry to say it but women should use their head and keep their hearts under lock and key especially when arab men are concerned. look at my friend, after it happened she became deprssed and had low self esteem, still has not recovered from it 3 years on. so dont go any where near them.
