Yes, four years ago. That was when our ministry of foreign affairs, Ahmed Maher was beated with shoes on his head during his infamous visit to Almasjid Al-Aqsa under protection of Israeli soldiers. The Palestinians were furious of him and guess what, so was I. |

Yes I've been embarrased for being Mexican but that was only cuz I used to be stupid by listening to ignorant people and racist society. That was back when I moved to Cincinnati Oh and went to an all white school some people never seen a mexican in their life I guess so much for being cultured. I guess they were stuped But i also found many friends who cared not about nationality. |

i felt embarrassed when i heard some views on English women in this section. Someone said all the women are loose and i was so embarrassed as i really am not loose at all but when i see some of the women here i really agree with the comment and feel embarrassed that I'm associated with them.
Also when i hear some British saying we are going on holiday to get drunk i feel really embarrassed that they are representing Britain as they are the small minority that do this the rest go on holiday to see the country and enjoy spending time together not for the alcohol i really worry what others think of the British.
Also when when Britain went to war with Iraq i felt embarrassed as it was an unwanted war and i was totally against it but Tony Blair didn't listen to his people but now he isn't prime minister so thank God for that. |

yes.. u know what's said about Levbanese girls, i'm not like that.. i'm not like the girls that u see on sides of some sites and they have a nude pic with their name there or nickname.. and it says: lebanese partner.. where are their morals! where is their religion, there is no religion that encourage adultery.. we're coming closer to judgment day.. and things r happening right in front of our eyes.. and ppl think it's alright, it's nice and so.. it's not for God's sake, for honor's sake.. for integrity's sake.. |

I am basically proud to be an American by birth, but I've lived in Europe now for 6 years, and I can see America and its relationship to the whole world through "new eyes". I am sometimes embarrassed by America's self-rightousness. America is the only developed country that hasn't signed the Kyoto Agreement (see website link),
for example. Many Americans think that America is the only country with America-like freedoms, but that is simply not true. Another example is that one of the big jokes here in Europe is that most American's are so poor at geography.
I really love America, but I really wish it could get get off its high-horse sometimes. |

Okay well, I'm Sudanese and when my Sudanese people mess up in many ways I feel embarrassed every day you know. Like for example, in Australia where thousands of Sudanese kids are forming gang and fighting each others and other people in great Australia. Also in Cairo Egypt many Sudanese young man like me are fighting each others and coming the African American Rap culture because of what they see on the media. I also feel embarrassed always by the government of Sudan in many ways. For example, killing of their own people in Darfur and setting up tribes against tribes. Or the Muhammed Teddy bear part was totally non sense cause the kids chose to name the teddy bear Muhammed since it's a good name. So the British teacher really didnt' have to go to Jail right guys. |

Yes, I feel like foreigners judge me because of being an American. Like we are all spoiled, rich, ignorant slobs, just because the US is a world power. It is not the case at all. We have poverty in this country as every country does.
Because America is so diverse in it's people, I'll have the chance to go to "the Mexican" side of town, or "the Greek" side of town, and "the Arabic" suburb, and all of those times, I feel a little out of place, but once I take my defensive guard down, I truly meet some wonderful people. |

well it happened and still this month...
it's not a real embarrasment...it's more of a shame...
the fact that our parlament that which represents us..can't actually decide on a president....and maybe can't agree on anything...
although i'm not a lot into politics, but i've lost hope in having a new president...
plus we still have no president....and the army commander was killed !!!

no i am proud to be british and when others assume that all people from one country are the same. e.g. people here assuming that all british women act in a certain way i just think they dont understand people.
there are good and bad in all countries of the world
but over all i think our country has a heck of a lot going for it.
and judging by the number of immigrants from all countries and all religions who seem to be desperate to come and live here so do alot of others. |

I am not talking about Islam or being a Muslim coz that is the best honor one could receive, but i am talking about the Nationality. |

Years ago, I can't remember exactly when. There was a computer virus that hit the world, especially USA, (sorry, for the life of me, I can't even remember the name of that bug) and they traced the person who created it, he's from the Philippines. It was in the news for weeks because several huge companies suffered from it, some even lost thousands of dollars. I feel embarrassed every time its shown on TV because reporters kept emphasizing where he's from as if all Filipinos are like him.
There's also this Andrew Cunanan who killed the famous fashion designer Gianni Versace. Although he grew up in the US, newscasters keep mentioning the fact that his roots is Filipino. |
