oh for sure. And it is even worse when you are married. You live with that person daily and daily get a reminder of the hurt. Trust goes out the window and it takes a lot of time to build it up again. I never mention it when we have a disagreement as it is in the past and I would like to keep it there. Therapy helps.

Making yourself feel wanted again is the most important and it is the same for men as woman. First take time to take care of yourself.

A couple of fights and happy pills later (include boxes of Dunhill Menthol) I have tried to move on. Yes it does come up once in a while when we argue, but its hard to gain trust when its been lost or tarnished between lovers. For women, I'd advise that you set up your confidence a notch. Buy sexy lingerie and dress up, do your hair and tell yourself that life has its hiccups and you're going to have your fill of water to end that hiccup. Believe in yourself and whomever it is that hurt you will feel rather sorry if not insecure about this sudden bloom and go out their mind wondering if you also have a secret of your own...

Unfortunately the less you care for someone the less able they are to really hurt you, and vice versa.

If you care for them that much, then you really need to think about what's happened and find a way to get through it. There is very little that is worth losing the ones you love over. (My exceptions are physical violence and adultery. If you can get past that, you're a better person than me.)

Often. Emotional isolation from people is depressing protection at least, because everyone is fallible. Iâ€™ve hurt and Iâ€™ve been hurt there, but Iâ€™ve been hurt more than Iâ€™ve hurt.

Yep like Ayiza say most of us have, my first love really broke my heart, but you get over it and move on.

Yes it just was that way without us meaning for it to happen, and i think restoring trust is one of the most difficult things to achieve
