Yes my dear, I have been to Israel a few times when I was younger. I am also planning a trip in the summer for my 80th birthday.
I am so looking forward to my trip this summer. |

Yes.. and I wasn't ready to come home when the rest of my group did.
I loved being there... and since then, the pages of the Bible have come alive for me. I can see the scenery in my mind for each account.
Israel is a miracle... another of G-d's "behind the scenes" miracles.
He is the King of the Universe, and all creation will one day bow before Him. |

Yes and it was wonderful! I lived in Tel Aviv, spent some time on a kibbutz near Beersheba and about 6 months in Jerusalem. This was about 15 years ago and I imagine it has changed quite a lot. The transport system was brilliant, Jerusalem is gorgeous and worth spending some time in, swimming in the Dead Sea hurts if you have any scratches or mosquito bites! The only downside was the expense and galloping inflation but I would go tomorrow if the palastinian problem was sorted out - but that will never happen, 2 Israelis = 3 opionions!
I did find the Arab parts far more friendly and easy going - the more religious the area the more difficult it seemed (especially the Jewish areas) - just my opinion from having to deal with it. As a young woman with blonde hair who spent alot of time wandering about, I felt protected and safe in the Arab areas but was followed and assaulted in religious Jewish areas. |

Yes, I've been visiting Israel since 1993 until now. I hope to go again this Summer too! :)
Regardless of the ignorant stereotype of Israel, I think its a beautiful country.
Every time I have visited I've been given a warm and welcoming stay by everybody and enjoyed myself more than anywhere else [Baring in mind I've travelled a lot over Europe, Africa and America].
I never feel unsafe when travelling in Israel, I'm actually able to walk the streets alone at night with less fear than England or anywhere else!
I hope that one day Israel will be shown in its true light and people see through all the politics! Thank you! |

Hey guys,
Everyone thinks Israel is not safe.
Now here's a fact for you.
The Jewish people love their kids.
Honestly - they really do.
In fact they dote on them.
Do you think they would live in Israel with their kids if they didn't feel safe?
So, if you are thinking of popping over there for a break - go ahead. You'll love it - and remember, anyone you see walking around holding rifles are the good guys. They are holding those rifles to protect YOU. |

yes, and i cried when i left. im going back in the summer with my 7 and half month old so she can see her homeland and birthright, and i will be moving there soon.
john-if you are jewish you should look into the birthright program. its a free ticket and 10 days of touring around the country. and if you want you can extend your ticket for real cheap, for awhile. |

No, but I have been dreaming of it forever. My grandmother was Jewish and I am so interested in that. Hopefully some day I will have enough money to visit. |
