If you mean that I feel happy for thumbs down from nasty, envious and black hearted people, yeah, I am thrilled to touch their nerves. When I used to answer questions from Atheists on R&S, I got as many thumbs down as you can imagine and guess what, it made me more than happy.

if you didn't go to R&S,then you don't know anything about thumbing down....
if there was a q :"what is you religion?"...there will be tens of thumbs down just coz u said i'm muslim....
but these thumbs down really makes me happy and more determined to do what i am doing.....
but recently i didn't get much thumb down...except for the questions about egyptian princess.........

i think it's very normal that you get a thumbs down in categories like R&S. There's so much contoversy in there and it's very likely that you'll find many people who totally disagrees with you.

I think you phrased how we all feel in your question. I do not like getting thumbed and still don't. Getting thumbed down means that person will no longer be able to see your answer. I like it when my thumbed down answer gets chosen as best answer ( by asker or vote) because then my answer is there to stay. :)

i dont bother about thumb down, it's pure envy.
but im glad when i get thumb up.

note: i hate it when someone doesne answer a question but goes on and on writing about islam, moslems, higab, etc. when these issues are out of the question and when islam has done them no harm.
i advise them to get well informed about this great religion, and to get into these issues only when they are asked about them.
im sorry i deal with this point here when i wanted to do so in answering Farah's Q about what would you like to be.
my written answer + this note didnt manage to appear under that question among answrs that show this trend im referring to.
