USA is behind Israel. Israel can do what it wants.
Every day children died, especially yesterday, for what??? They want only live in their country, live in peace - is this forbidden, or what??? Aren't this people also humans??? Why nobody say anything against Israel??? Why all the BIG countries are silent?? I really think (and it's true) that all this countries are dumb, blind and deaf. They only discuss the problem, that's all they do. They must STOP discussions, they must begin to do anything. Actions speak louder than words!!!!
Where are the humans rights???? Where???? I think every human has the right for LIFE. And where are the children rights??? Why only the children in Europe and USA have rights??? Aren't the children of Palestine also children - children, which want to have a home, want to live with the family in peace, which want to go to school, which have dreams and which want to have a future!!!! We are all equal. Nobody is better!!!!
I really can't anymore watch news and see all these people!!! It's like a burn in my heart. I hope that it will soon give peace - a great word P-E-A-C-E, I really miss that!!!!

There is a lack of willingnes by the Israelis to see the Palestinians As human beings. The Palestinians do not help their situation with the bombings and the rockets attacks that they carry out either.

There is a point that needs to be made here though: SOMEBODY needs to stop. One of the parties needs to realize that at this point the situatuion has degraded into a tit for tat blood feud and blood feuds have no end because there is always somebody on one side or the other thaat needs to be avenged.

As muslims we always talk about the Mercy of Allah(swt) yet all too often we fail to practice it in our own lives. We need to set the example. Not because we think the Israelis are right, but because they will never be convinced they are wrong using the tactics that havce been employed thus far.

The most difficult thing in the world is to stop fighting your enemy but it is neccessary if he/she is to cease being your enemy. The fact is that the muslims in the surrounding area cannot and or will not help and the Christian nations will not take our side and the Israeli army is too powerful for the Palestinians to defeat alone. The continued infighting among Palestinians contributes to this as well.

I know why the war is going on. It is because the Jews, as a result of the Holocaust and numerous pogroms etc. in Europe feel the need to have a homeland/safehaven for Jews to ensure their safety while the Palestinians simply want their own state on the land that they have occupied since time immemorial. Israel does not want to include everybody (meaning Palestinians in Israel and the territories ) as equal citizens in one state because they do not want to it to ever become more Palestinian(in population) than Jewish. his creates in impasse because they simultaneously allow anybody whose mother is Jewish to become a citizen of Israel and import their brethren from around the world whilst dnying the same right to the justifyibly irat Palestinian population. They are beholden to their religious extremists in Israel as the saudis are in Arabia.
The situation sems unsolvable because both parties believe that they MUST maintain their positions.

My message though is that they must not. The price is too high. How many generations must continue to suffer and die and live in squalor before somebody says ENOUGH??!!

Stop it now. EVERYBODY stop it now.the whole world is being pulled into this caldron of injustice and murder is murder regardless of who commits it.

Your numbers speak your lie. You count all that are killed like innocent civilians, when (at the very least) more than half were certified terrorists. This inability to draw the line between who deserves to die and who does not is what causes more of the latter to receive what more of the former do not.
I agree that the death of any child is a tragedy. I wholeheartedly agree with you on that point, and assure you that the Israeli army has never ever gone out with the express goal of killing an infant. Further, the IDF has never considered it a victory to kill a child or an innocent person. In all fairness, the same cannot be said of the terrorists among the Palestinians. This is not even a point that is arguable - Palestinian terrorists attempt to kill civilians on a regular basis. The rockets fired against Ashkelon are a perfect example - these were meant to kill and demoralize as many people as possible, irrespective of civilian status.
It is this basic disregard for human and civilian life which indirectly leads to the deaths of the innocent children. The Israeli offensive in Gaza is neccessary, and that is because terrorists refuse to fight without their human shields. Hamas specifically draws the IDF into urban combat intentionally, rather than fight out in the open where civilian casualties would be minimized. Anyone following the news should be able to tell quite easily that the impetus for any strike into Gaza is the never-ending rocket fire directed against Israel - rocket fire that is meant for civilians I might add.
Israel and Israelis do care about killing children, and that is why they do not hide their soldiers behind them. The same cannot be said of those on the other side.

EDIT: One last point: for those of you equating this action to Hitler and the holocaust, we're talking about 110 people. 110 people is not ethnic cleansing, it is not the holocause and it is night Nazi-esque activity. Even after 6 million, much of the world (and most of the Arab world) refuse to apply those terms to the actual Holocaust, so with all due respect, the usage of that language is particularly offensive and unwarranted.

How can the members of Hamas sleep when they are getting these children killed? The people of Hamas who shoot off the rockets then go hide behind innocent civilians - especially women and children, even babies. One of the rockets sent out by Hamas fell short and killed a 13 month old baby in Gaza.

But I'm not making excuses for all the killings done by Israeli soldiers. I don't support it, and I don't support what Hamas has been doing either. I am pro-Israel but I am also pro-Palestine, and I want peace so badly. Both must realize that what is happening right now is very detrimental to the peace process... who ever heard of bombing for peace?!? Doesn't make sense to me.

Nobody was killed in cold blood. I am sure members of the IDF sleep well knowing that have acting to protect their innocent children from being harmed and hopefully taught the parents of Palestinian children to stop the violence.

but concerning ur question I personally am so sorry about every innocent person killed may it be man or women or children. and you know israelis have been killed by hamas as well and if it weren't for our defense systems there would be many more innocent israelis killed only israel cares more of it's citizens then hamas do of gazans.

but it is inevitable sometimes when you try to target militants shooting from yards of bulidings with civilians inside them, it is hard for every1 and ppl carry these feelings all their lives but the hamas leaves no option it continues to fire rockets and israel must protect itself.
