An intriguing question, presumably one which many people in South Africa ask themselves on a daily basis. That would explain why so many are moving to other places, in search of a better "life". I would suggest however that we are very much alive. The whole breathing, eating and growing thing is a dead giveaway (pun fully intended).
While it is true that spending too much time on Yahoo Answers can make you FEEL that you may be dead, as long as you are reading and typing, and most importantly posing silly questions, you can rest assured that you are indeed still a member of the living.

It's a freaky thought, but then again I can also ask How do we know that there's not really wizards, dragons and elves that conceal themselves from us muggles, like in Harry Potter.
