How do you feel when you have many things to be finished in very little time?

I just finish them with no delay
I get very excited about this as this is the kind of work I do regarding multiple reports & reconciliation that I have to deliver on a specefic date, the previous guy used to prepare all that in 2 weeks & it takes me 4 days.
I always tend to set my targets a day or 2 earlier & alhamd lel lal I tend to finish
even in my life I like to finish every thing very quikly & cross them together on the same time
for example I managed to get my driving license (it's very hard in UAE) & buy my car & rent a house & make visas to my Wife & kid & buy furniture in 2 weeks
In2 houres I can go to the barber & my son & buy groceries & get fish for lunch & wash the car & pay some bills
Also if I cook for my wife I can make a complete lunch & with no dishes in the sink in less than 1 hour
I even tend to speak very fast :)

To avoid panic. I sit down and make a list of priorities. I start with what is an absolute must and proceed according to the list.
It is also good to take into consideration if solving one problem makes the another problem less difficult, and also the order of sequence in 2 areas: distance and direction.
This takes the burden from my brain. By this I am concentrating at one task for the moment, not overwhelmed by too many things to worry about.

I get pretty stressed, but to avoid freaking out, I prioritize and try to proceed accordingly, moving in a fast forward mode.

I remember once, however, I had over 1500 papers to correct in a very short time (and contrary to common belief, I DO read every single word, even those that are in a draft or rough copy), had a huge work load, tons of other personal issues to deal with, chores around the house, and to top it all I was very sick and in addition having physical therapy sessions for back problems I was having ... I sat down, took one look at the tons of papers around me, opened the first one, took one look at the first answer, and felt that my effort the whole year went down the drain. I just broke down and cried! looooool

That was the norm !!! I would freak out if i had little work around me .....Lolzzzzzz

Just clear yr mind for a few seconds, have a cold drink and then like everyone said prioritize go for the tough jobs first then every once in a while finish an easy no brainer, just to give yr mind a break and then start over.

Nervous and stressed if they are things I don't want to do or will have a hard time doing..

Otherwise if its things I don't mind doing then I feel productive and accomplished after I finish all of them in record time! :p

i do the easy things 1st to have them behind my back.
then move on to the more difficult ones .
the more i finish , the better i feel.
between each one and the other, i take a deep breath.
on and on , till i finish the tasks as fast as i can.

Of course it depends on what sort of things...but I like to avoid feeling too pressed by creating checklists.

My husband's travel packing list helps me to get him going each week, knowing he has everything he needs.

An emergency clean-up checklist helps me at home when my kids have destroyed the house and I get a call from an unexpected visitor who is "just around the corner".

I hope this helps. I do wonder why you posted this under the Egypt category..
