very safe... it'll always be a safe haven.
People get killed in schools in the US, in Egypt, I don't think that ever happened. |

It is very safe, ask your travel agent. Thousands of tourists visit Egypt every day without any problem. It is safer than many other countries. You will enjoy Sharm el Sheikh very much and you will feel very comfortable and welcomed. |

Egypt is one of the safest countries i have been to much safer than my local town, i can let my kids go out on their own without any fear, you can walk about anywhere you want, not much to do in sharm any way to me its not Egypt try and get away to see the real Egypt , the ancient sites along the Nile |

sharm is very safe we are going there in one weeks time, and this is our 6th time, you tend to get pestered a bit regarding trips etc, but you do anywhere you learn to say no thankyou and they leave you alone. have agood time. we love it there |

Egypt is a very safe place i feel safer there than in England i read that there is less crime and violence in the major cities like Cairo than cities in England and America.
Everything is safe in sharm i went shopping In a supermarket and left my phone and money in the trolley and left it out of my sight whilst i went and looked around and no one touched it so don't worry just relax and enjoy your time.
You can walk very safely around outside the complex the people in Sharm are really friendly and want to help so you can enjoy your time.
Have a good time Sharm is a great place to visit. |

We just got back from Sharm yesterday and it was amazing. i was worried about safety before i went but once i was there i soon forgot about it. The people are really friendly as long as u remember to observe the customs and dress codes with regards to sunbathing. Crime is very low as there r tourist police everywhere and if u have any problems they r only too happy to help u.
relax and enjoy your holiday, i loved it and can't wait to go back. |

I go to Sharm El-Sheikh every year, and it is safe. I assure U. Although I am Egyptian, I will not wonder there if it is not safe. Security precautions are a top priority to the Egyptian authorities to ensure the tourists' safety. And I am proud of that. I went last September to Coral Bay Domina resort. It is so substantial that U will not need to go to the more public places, if U might feel weary of crowd . It has its own protected coral reef for snorkeling, bazaars, restaurants, discos, dance shows etc. A good side to it, U get to have free wine refills at dinner, and at the disco U get to have unlimited alcohol refills! Contact me at my e-mail to recommend for you places to visit in Sharm El-Shaeikh, and other places in Egypt. |

I went to Cairo in 2004 and the bus behind me got bombed with an explosive bomb and a nail bomb, I got a nail through my leg and it scarred. :(
In conclusion its like Helmand Province, but with pyramids. |
