I think first he should lower the capital gains tax will help to increase investing. This will help to create more jobs and stop some many people from being laid off.

Because he is raising taxes on people who work hard and giving it to the poor, people won't work as hard and our economy won't grow strong. He just wants to be president and promise anything he can think of. He's full of crap.

Everybody is just waiting to see if what he will actually do what he says. It will be interesting to see if he will create change for the US as he said he would. This gave Americans hope after the Bush administration chaos. Also, he has a tough job right now because he has to fix all the mess that Bush created. We will see.

I think there is a good likelihood the economy may get worse once Obama becomes president. Many Republicans will blame Obama for the economy getting worse after he enters office, but the real cause will be the after affects of Bush's policies carrying over into the next administration to give them trouble for about the first 3 years.

It's just like trying to stop a train. You can't stop it on a dime on the tracks. It takes about a mile for it to stop. And you can't back the train up until you stop it.

I think the first thing Obama will have to do is cut spending. There are two major ways he can do that:

1. Stop the War in Iraq which is costing us $10 billion per month

2. Do an audit of all the goverment programs as Obama suggested and eliminate or cut all of the programs that aren't needed.

And economic stimulus check may also be needed to help get people to start spending money. And he'll need to do stuff to open up the credit markets to force banks to start lending again. And he'll need to help save the US auto industry which has caused the midwest to fall on hard times. And he'll have to spend money on creating new technology to create new technology jobs to replace manufacturing jobs. Many of the US manufacturing jobs are gone forever to overseas countries. And the only way they can be replaced is to create more high technology jobs to replace them.

Once the spending is cut and things are somewhat stable he'd likely start working on giving tax rebates to those making under $200,000 dollars. You can't afford to give tax rebates until the spending is cut first. Then you can use the tax rebates to help pick the economy up by getting people to spend more.

i think that Obama is going to be a good leader hes going to help out everyone from lower class to middle class to high class or however yo say it hes going to help immigrants and he will lower taxes and to make sure that every child has health care hes going to makes sure that we have health care. hes going to take the troops put of iraq and he just showed that anyone can be president doesn't matter what race or what color you can be president you can be anyone you want to be . i hope dis will help
