Neither of you want to move---but one of you will HAVE to.... if you truly love this man, then you have to think for a moment about what YOU want out of life....and so does HE. But, the one BIG criteria as to who should move is -----who is working and making the most money? If your fiancee has a good job and makes more money then YOU do, it would be foolish for HIM to give up that job and move to Lebanon where he wouldn't HAVE a job. If, however, YOU make more money at YOUR job, then HE should move to Lebanon to be with you in marriage.... If, however, you both work and make equal money, and neither wants to move, you could marry and keep the relationship a long distance one for EVER (not a good way to have a marriage)----OR each go your separate ways and find others---- the decision belongs to both of you but ultimately one of you will either have to move or BOTH of you will have to part company....Leaving one's family is NEVER easy, so basing your decision on how much you love this man and who has the better job and more money is probably the only way to settle it. PS----Canada is a BEAUTIFUL country and they DO have airports so if you DID decide to move there, you could ALWAYS go back to Lebanon for visits as often as you could afford to...

Dont get married and stay next to your parents,

Its your future and you know what to do with it, think with your mind and not heart and remeber not everyone at the age of 31 gets a chance

You are happy in the Lebanon, your family is there and because you have never been anyplace else !!!!
You do not know if you could be "happy" someplace else !!!!
If you move to Canada your relationship with your "new" husband might be strained because you might be homesick and miserable.
On the other hand.... you might like the new life style, see new things, explore !!!!!
I guess the question you have to ask yourself....can you live without your fiance???
If your fiance has a good job you could visit your country and family every year or 2.
You say you love your country, of course, we all do love our country. BUT, you can not make a comparison....because your have never traveled and can't compare !!!!
Before you make the decision, before you get married....travel to Canada and see what it is all about.

Then make up your mind.

However .... your last sentence:
"i have never travelled before"....... maybe that's what it is all about.... are you to scared to travel????

i think u can share ur opinion with ur fiance but all u talked about is ur martial status and his work. u didnt say if u love him or not anyway im telling u this b/c if u really love each other u will sort it out if not no harm done u can always find another 1 to marry

You have to do what you think will make you happy. Think that if you do something thinking about another pple you'll never reach happiness. even.....i dont understand you when you say "but i also have to get married" Why "have" to get married?? Are you doing it pressed by someone or by your family? You didnt say if you love your fiancee..that also counts.
Think only about yourself. None will live your life. It is only your right to decide what is the best for you....more...at 31 .
You are already a woman, and can take your own decisions.

Think about that sentence.

You can make new friends as Kate said. You can visit every year if you will be financially secure. Can he not make a good living in Lebanon? Your parents wont be around forever, you need to build your future together. Living away from home is never easy, just make sure you dont get stuck in canada, save your money well and you can save and return in say 5 years.

So really, Your family or your man, its your life, Is moving financially worth it?

If your fiance lives in Canada and he's got a good job and everything, he can't just drop everything and move to Lebanon where no one knows him and where jobs openings are a little rare.
You could go to Canada, at first it would be boring but you'll make good friends and you'll eventually have fun, maybe you could go to work yourself...and in summer you can visit Lebanon and your family could come to see you throughout the year

it's not so bad, you'll see.

I do understand you. I am living in Canada since the age of 13 and I can't get used to this country. I've been to Lebanon for the past 5 years but only for vacations; I loved it... Canada is a good country but it's the long winters I hate.

Well i wouldnt live in canada it is so cold there. But if your fiancee is there then you should at least go for a few years, you can always move back to lebanon.

Sometimes, love means making sacrifices. Obviously, it would be ridiculous to be married and live in two different countries, so you've got to decide which is more important to you - living near your family or marrying the man you love. That's a decision you have to make all by yourself.

If he lives in one of the big cities in Canada (Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver), then I think you might really enjoy it over there. It's very safe and secure and they have a very high quality of life. I don't envy your decision. I am an Israeli currently in America.
