come to Egypt .
we dont know hatred .

Americans or Europeans are welcome here as long as they are friendly .
after you come to Egypt , you can learn some Arabic to get along with Egyptians with ease .

Errrmmm, well I don't know the whole story of course and you probably know what's best for you but are you sure you want to live in a foreign country (+ you don't speak the language) with a family that you haven't lived with yet? I don't know him, he may be the sweetest guy in the world but you still won't have anywhere to go. Try to imagine how life will be like for you if you guys have a big fight or something ... you will probably feel extremely lonely unless you have friends or family there (not his because they will always be on his side no matter what).

Ask yourself why you needed to ask this question, what exactly are the dangers of moving to Egypt and marrying him, etc.

That being said, no we don't hate Americans (politics and government perhaps, people no) so don't worry about that, you need to be worrying about more important things.

They don't hate americans. life is very hard there and very stressful especially in Cairo. You may feel very isolated too unless he has links to some ex-pats for you. the culture and religion can also be very hard to cope with. Have you thought about how you would deal with his family? they would expect you to be very reserved and the lot.

There is no problem for an American to live among Egyptians except the normal problems of anyone new to the place. Just you have to think about some details like what are you going to do. I recommend you try to learn something and you'll have a lot of support and many special courses. The most suitable for you will be in the American University in Cairo. You'll be safe and well with an Egyptian Muslim husband if he really follows the rules of Islam. In our religion non-Muslims has rights and it's our responsibility to keep their rights. Egyptians are friendly but their life is hard and Cairo is a big crowded city. Still many Americans are living in Egypt and many of them are American women married to Egyptian men. It seems that this mix is successful in marriage. Go if he is not much older than you and you know what you are doing.

If you decide to come and live here, welcome among Egyptian hearts.

ok back to your Q : keep your relationship with that pilot Little bit longer before digging into marriage and try so have a deep look into his life and always be open minded about his life and his family , don't expect the worst and neither the opposite.

we don't hate american's but i want to advise you something you can't live in arabic country without speaking the language because you will be used and you're too young to live alone specially in egypt cause people will know if ur europian or american

welcome to Egypt and i hope you enjoy your stay here but wait a minute you didn`t mention that you are going to get married
you can`t live with your boy friend in Egypt ,it is a crime and you can be arrested for that
if you trust this guy and really love him don`t move with him unless you got married
but don`t forget that he works as a pilot so he has long trips and you will spend long time alone in Egypt ,don`t worry about your safety ,in Egypt you are in safe but you should really work on learning Arabic to easily Communicate and to get many friends as soon as you can

i know an American women who was my teacher in school, she told me that at some point in her life she decided the same thing u did but she didn't love an Egyptian, she just wanted to start a new life in Egypt and she told me i never regret that
