Well, if you know this FOR SURE, than yea, best to warn him. I would want someone to warn me. If he still doesn't want to leave her after that, than it's on him and his judgment. But playing with people's emotions is just wrong. But warn him once and then stay out of it and let it play itself out. The sooner they break up, the easier it will be for him to get over it. But if he made it as far as boyfriend, how do you really know she doesn't really care for the guy? Make sure you know these things as fact before you consider intervening.

How do you know this for sure and why would this be any of your business - be happy for your friend and if you feel this way why don't you first talk to the girl and see if you are correct or just very wrong. If you have a talk with this girl and you find your thoughts are correct - I would think telling your friend would be ok - but first I would say is that this girl should talk to your friend. you are mettling here and you are quite possibly going to lose a friend more likely that help him out.
