Not long--Look what happened to all those green houses left behind by Jewish settlers when they pulled out of Gaza. USAID bought them from the settlers for twenty million dollars so they would be intact and a useful economic benefit to the Palestinian people. Instead of being smart, Palestinian mobs descended on the green houses and looted them to the ground for scrap. I saw the same thing in Baghdad in 2003. My unit had to secure a water treatment plant because a looting mob had descended on the facility. What kind of people loot their own water treatment plant? Why could they not see the benefit of clean water for their families over a few hundred dollars in scrap?

The Palestinians have experienced some hard times these last few decades from enemies and their own leaders who have said they are out to help them but only want to bring harm to Israel.

If Israel did not exist, more than likely one of the other Arab nations would likely take over and the Palestinians will then have oppressive Arab rulers over them. The surrounding Arab nations really are not out to help the Palestinians, they just hate Israel, period. The Palestinians are pawns used by other greedy Arab rulers.

A hypothetical scenario would be that once Israel disappeared Palestinian civil wars would lead to destruction and occupation by surrounding Arab countries within weeks.

Back to your question. Palestine was never a wasteland. Palestine was the largest citrus fruit exporter in the world prior to 1948. My grandfather owned tens of acres of citrus trees farms in our village (Kafr Ana: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kafr_Ana ). Of course all was lost to the Zionist occupiers in 1948.

Farming was the main source of income for the Palestinians before Israel disposed of and expelled 0.75 million of them to make room for the immigrant Jews from all over the world. Israel never allowed these people to return in spite of several UN resolutions.

Farming is still the main source of income for the Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza strip, but Israel is working very hard at destroying that too. See my answer to this relevant question.

I can imagine that. All the Jews left and the Arabs flood in and take it over. Youll see the infrastructure collapse within several years, Hamas and Fatah killing each other. Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Egypt making land claims. Syria likely would invade it all leading to Jordan quickly entering the West Bank and soon enough a new war.

Christians and Jews will be banned from entering Jerusalem( Jordan did this when they ruled Jerusalem) The Samaritans will be persecuted again, Bahai centers will be occupied, Black "Palestinians" will be denied jobs and healthcare(just like when Jordan ruled) will be a mess

Pretty quickly. Look what the Palestinians did when Israel pulled out of Gaza. They destroyed everything standing, even the stuff that international aid organizations built specifically for the Palestinians.

If that happened then Hamas would rule and kill all the arab children to stop anyone taking over as they have tried with Israeli children. However the question is rather silly as its impossible for Israel to not exist, Unless of course nowhere else existed too. The whole world except Iran and Hamas supports Israel.
