& 2.1% in Egypt). Simultaneously, recent PA statistics have proved to be "out of sync with the Arab growth rate in . . . Arab countries. Howdy Ms. Miche..I've looked at this question for 3-4 days..My first reaction was 'what an absurd idea'..I met many Arabs during my visit to Israel..West Bank and otherwise..None of them ever gave me the impression that they were under any sort of 'evil' pressure..I had coffee and pastries with an Arab in Ramallah at his home.. Then had dinner at a very fine restaurant with him and his wife..He was one of the most cordial and content gentlemen I have met in all of my travels..No mention of fear..hate..worry..and certainly spoke of no disrespect for the Israelis..In fact, he worked for the State of Israel as a Professor..He considered himself an Israeli and was proud of it..I saw NO evidence of ethnic prejudice..and I am certain statistics will prove this 'concept' to be more 'Pally-wood' Voodoo.

Because there is no such thing as "ethnic cleansing". Muslim Israeli Arabs have equal civil rights with their Jewish counterparts. The Palestinian Arabs, especially in Gaza, suffer because they harbor militants who openly deny Israel's right to exist and their fellow Muslim Arab governments use them as political pawns to fan anti-Israel and anti-Jewish sentiments across the Muslim world.

Do you mean that if there are still Muslims alive in Israel, then Israel is not practicing ethnic cleansing against Palestinians?. It is like saying Hitler did not practice ethnic cleansing against the Jews for not killing them all.

In Israel itself,there are very few,principally Christians around Haifa; they are largely unmolested because to do so would alienate American opinion. if you are talking the Palestinians in the WB and Gaza,they are not in Israel; no nation recognizes these areas as part of Israel,including the U.S. There aer in fact very few Palestinians in the former Palestine Mandate.

The sole legal distinction between Jewish and Arab citizens of Israel is that the latter are not required to serve in the Israeli army. This is to spare Arab citizens the need to take up arms against their brethren. Nevertheless, Bedouins have served in paratroop units and other Arabs have volunteered for military duty. Compulsory military service is applied to the Druze and Circassian communities at their own request.

Some economic and social gaps between Israeli Jews and Arabs result from the latter not serving in the military. Veterans qualify for many benefits not available to non-veterans. Moreover, the army aids in the socialization process.

On the other hand, Arabs do have an advantage in obtaining some jobs during the years Israelis are in the military. In addition, industries like construction and trucking have come to be dominated by Israeli Arabs.

Although Israeli Arabs have occasionally been involved in terrorist activities, they have generally behaved as loyal citizens. During the 1967, 1973 and 1982 wars, none engaged in any acts of sabotage or disloyalty. Sometimes, in fact, Arabs volunteered to take over civilian functions for reservists. During the outbreak of violence in the territories that began in September 2000, Israeli Arabs for the first time engaged in widespread protests with some violence.

The United States has been independent for almost 230 years and still has not integrated all of its diverse communities. Even today, 60 years after civil rights legislation was adopted, discrimination has not been eradicated. It should not be surprising that Israel has not solved all of its social problems in only 60 years.

Because, technically Israel is split in two nations by religion, so it will never be cleansed.

There are Muslims serving in the Israeli military, Muslim police officers and polticians.

ethnic cleansing?? i am glad to see that it is stated in quotes, but its pretty ridiculous. israel tries to protect its country and bring 'peace' at the same time, blocking terrorists from entering israel proper on the one hand, then giving concessions to them on the other in the hopes that they will be satisfied and leave israel alone. some sort of peaceful coexistence, seen perhaps only in the minds of olmert, bush, and crazy leftists.

the rest see the bigger picture and wish the anti-israelis would see it as well.

Just because you cannot see over the Apartheid Wall or the Blockade in Gaza, does not excuse the fact of what is happening.

They are not killing them in the fast rate that Hitler did, but one family at a time and a few people denied health care and water in their own homeland will all add up on their murder list. Allah sees this all and our ancestor Abraham would be appalled at what they are a doing.

There will always be Muslims in Palestine because no one would completely abandon their homeland. Unless Israel has this racist ideology that they try so hard to cover up they should not have a problem with this. They are the only "free" country in all of the Middle East I am told.

Because they are cleansing them at a VERY slow rate.

They are not systematically killing them like the Nazis did...but they do know that if the Palestinian population continues to grow Palestinains will be the majority and when that happens Israel will once again (and rightfully so) be back in Palestinian hands...so they are doing all they can to keep the population rate down...by denying them proper medical care and limiting their food and water.

Ohh and they are still there because they can't leave.

because if they ethnically cleansed both Israel and all the occupied territories of the Arabs (Muslims) and there were no more "hated enemies" of Israel. Then there would be trued peace and then there would be no need for the United States to give almost 11 billion dollars in military economic and settlement building aid to israel and they would be a nation who would then stand on their own and not have the US foreign aid.

Also there are still Muslims (Arabs) in Israel because they serve a labor purpose because they do the work that the Israeli's don't want to do. Just as in America we let in different immigrants both legal and illegal to do work that supposedly Americans don't want to do.

After the intifada of 2001 there has been a concerted effort to keep out palestinians form Israel proper so Israel has allowed Thai and fillipino guest workers to come in and fill some of the labor shortage.

In short just like in America businesses want to pay as little as possible to their workers so in Israel and in America the citizens don't want to do the job because the salry is not high enough.

There will be no "complete ethnic cleansing solution" just as in the United States there is a war on drugs. If the war on Drugs were irraidcated and there were sunndely no smugglers or drug dealers or drug addicts users then a whole government industry would fall apart. there would be no need to spend billions on catching drug smugglers etc or curing the addicts or arresting the corner ghetto drug dealer in any major American city or suburb

In short there is too much money involved.

Those are the two reasons why there will be no complete "alleged ethnic cleansing" after more than 60 years.

Anyway, the obvious answer is there was no ethnic cleansing of Muslims by the Israelis. Either that or they're making a pretty half hearted effort.

They haven't killed off all the Muslims/Pals yet. In history can you name any that were victims of genocide or ethnic cleansing that were totally eradicated. I'm not sure what you are asking though or why.
