If immortality were possible, would life be more or less precious ?

i believe more precious !

and actually according to Islam (or people of the book in general), Immortality already exists but as you know in afterlife, so for me, i already believe that "immortality" exists, for our life is just like a journey or phase that will determine our positions after "closing our eyes" = "death", to open it again on an immortal life..........
so we're already preparing for this "immortality", which means that it exists and playing a big or major role in this actual life !! :-)

immortality does not mean indestructible.
thus, it would have to be taken care of when , however
one still love that life....If not, what good is it to live.....in a deformed or malfunctioning half-living machine?

Think about it.. if your life is eternal, and you were sentenced to death (La sama7 allah) think how much you lose?

mortal life is precious and meaningful.
we have to do our best in this mortal life to enjoy respect and love of humans and the Grace of God for the HEREAFTER .
God 's arrangement is the best , ma sha allah wala hawla wala quwata illa billah.
when i went on pilgrimage and was about to die just before stoning Satan,i wasnt sad or upset .
i felt i was ready for death in this point in my life .
from then on, i havent feared death though life is precious .
i have gained spiritual peace .
