3.That the Islamist group Hamas, is gaining popularity in the West Bank while the more secular Fatah, is losing ground.

I think there is no place for talks now, so Israel acts.

They don't want peace,obviously; making war in their sole form of social adhesive; it's the glue that holds that a Potemkin Village society together. If they want war,they can have it. I figured out a long time that all these negotiations lead to nothing but more disenfranchisement and there needs to be a revolution.
By the way,there isn't a nation on earth that recognizes the WB,the Gaza or the Golan as "israeli" territory. They are there as illegal immigrants,period. Almost all nations recognize the Palestinian Territories. Including the U.S. Zionists don't even know where their UN-designated land is.

East Jerusalem was annexed so it isnt "Palestinian" land. The Arabs living in East Jerusalem do not even carry Palestinian papers, but Jordanian passports.

Regardless of whether you consider it Palestinian land, if there is to be peace and a two-state solution, it is an extremely frustrating problem that new housing is being build on land that will have to be ceded to Palestinians at some point. While I understand Israeli frustration with rockets instead of negotiations, this activity simply encourages the rockets and is going to make it harder one day when the IDF has more settlers to expel.

I do not have a good understanding of internal Israeli politics, but I think that this has to do more with those politics than with not wanting peace. Still, as a Zionist, I am frustrated that agreements to stop the proliferation of settlements in the West Bank keep using the loophole of saying, "this isn't a new settlement, just new houses in the old settlement". It leads to questions like this one, and not to trust. It will be bad for Israel in the long run, in my very humble opinion. Israelis do want peace, yet they engage in this activity that seems to often undermine the peace process.

But why are Palestinian workers helping build it...?

My answer: I don't think this has to do with anything about war and peace at least from Israeli leadership side. Why do palestinians keep bringing everything Israel does as if it is act of war on them?

Israel has large population that it has accepted the responsibility to care for. On that land, which has always been predominately Jewish land, at figures easily available, they house 4,000 families, 12 kindergartens, 6 day care centers, 2 public grammar schools, 3 medical clinics, and 3 shopping centers. And an arab is helping them work on it.

Why do palestinians keep talking war and not build their own metropolis in Gaza? They refuse to build their own metropolis and want to prevent Israel from adding onto existing Jewish development?

This just sickens me. Watching Palestinians move into Gaza and take down those greenhouses meant to feed them, they refuse to care for themselves. Then they want to prevent another people from taking care of its own.

Israel needs NOBODYS permission to care for its people on ANY land that it controls. PERIOD.

Of all the countries in this world that can't provide for their own people you should be HAPPY for them that Israel is providing for its own citizens, including the Arabs within it. And if you feel neglected then talk to Abbas instead of trying to take away what Israel does for its own. Abbas should tell you to put down your rocket launcher and set aside your hatred pick up a shovel and plant something.
