All a zionist is, is a person who believes that Israel has a right to exist. The Zionist focus is on supporting the continued existence of Israel as the official Jewish State, the Nazi focus was on the "final solution" to the "jewish problem" by extermination.

I don't see how they're similar at all, much less that Zionists are "as bad as Nazis"

Please ignore these people for the crackpots that they are.

Israelis are killers
Hitler was a Jew and 60% of nazis were Jewish. They killed each others and now are killing the innocent pals.

Point well-taken. That is not to say that Israel is innocent here, but hyperbolic statements comparing Israelis to Nazis will get us nowhere. The fact is, if Israel wanted to wipe out the Palestinians currently residing within Israel and/or the OT, it could have done so long ago, and I'm not sure that anyone would have stopped them. We have seen a number of examples of true genocide going unchecked since the inception of the State of Israel- Cambodia, Laos, Rwanda, Darfur, to name a few. Israel could have gone down that road, and there may be some within Israel that would support it and carry it out. But let's call things as they are- unjust, cruel, collectively punishing, yes, but genocidal, no.

I would also take issue with your use of quotes around the word Palestinian. Why do that? Why deligitimize a people just because you don't like the fact that they exist? If you want to make the silly argument that Palestinians are really Syrians and never called themselves Palestinians, go ahead. But at this point it is just mean-spirited to use these quotes. They identify themselves as such, and so should everyone else.

Even if one accepted that logic, it could easily be said of Israelis as well. Before 1947, were there any Israelis? There were the ancient ISREALITES, but no Israelis. Shall I now start writing "Israelis" every time I mention the word? There were no Americans 300 years ago. Should everyone start writing "Americans"?

Bug Eye
95% of Palestinians are currently without a country.

If most Palestinians are good, and only a handful are bad, and only 5% are left, why cant the best army in the world catch them, without killing innocent civilians? Not should give you something to think about...

MikeInRI
The people who say that Zionists are as bad as Nazis have serious mental issues. Do not worry about these people - just block them and hopefully Yahoo will eventually realize how detrimental such people are to their company. Either that or welcome MSN in when it takes over Yahoo because those who run the company cannot do a competent job with it.

Good Luck!!!

rosends
because "Palestinian" simply means "someone from the region on the map which used to be called Palestine. This refers to Arabs, Christians and Jews who lived in the region pre-1948. Why would anyone want to kill people just because they lived there before there was any country there.

Blue Xull
Well, just as there are many "Jews" alive. they are dying and suffering.

Countering Some people's null evidence. (aka Paperback's, Mimi so busy is right, lol)

I have a 48 page list of only CHILDREN who have died in Israel bombings,

Jeez! 47 pages? OMG that beats every statistic, I'm astonished by the validity of your logic!

there are people being treated in the hospital huh? heres a leaked example, a mother who was prevented from going to the hospital after an Israeli bomb exploded in her house and Israelis didn't let them call the ambulance! btw, ISRAEL ADMITS MISTAKE, imagine! A Jew (the superior race) admits mistake (she dies):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tW1-_JmXQt0

Iran, PLO and Hamas are the only ones against Israel?
Interestingly the Jewish lobby sends threatening messages to people who don't support the Israel's cause, even US politicians. A US CONGRESSMAN SAYS SO (let alone supporting the Palestinian cause):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHciQh2i6gw

how can they do that?:

This is the person who arrested people for speaking ill of Israel, would you believe eventually those detentions led to his fall from ULTIMATE POWER over an entire country, he is not biased, even he says the Israeli lobby controls the US:

Unlike Hitler and his Nazi who wished to exterminate ALL Jewish people, Israel has no intention whatsoever to eliminate the Palestinian Arabs. Had the Arab governments accepted the 1947 Partition Plan, the Palestinian Arabs would have their own state since 60 years ago.

Unless you have a better name for the Palestinian Arabs, kindly omit the " mark the next time you want to type Palestinians.

To mimi so bussy. It is sad when innocent people get harmed. Im not defending every incident of shootings because I know not everyone is innocent. But I do ask my self this. Why do the men of war hide behind the innocent for their operations (build bunkers next to their houses) if they don't want their innocent people harmed? This seems to show a lack of concern for the well being of their children? Of course there are the incidents when a strike on an enemy goes terribly wrong beyond intention, those are truly sad. I also ask my self another question. What about the men who launch missiles into Israel at no particular targets except innocent civilians? What kind of people are these? What goes through their minds? Unfortunately for to long there has been strife, contention, and bickering. What will it take for this "human mind strong hold" to be broken?

B
umm I've never made that comparison that you mentioned but just a small tip for your next question, Nazis didn't kill all Jews either. Oh and btw putting a '' '' like that just makes you look stupid (no offense--)

Hey paperback, welcome back, where did I say that? And you'd know about lying I'm sure.... (I'm gonna be nice and -- .)

Simple. You are utterly dependent on the Americans and they will not let you. Should you ever obtain independence from the U.S. you would kill every Palestinian you could get your hands on.

Like MIMI, I too have a list. Currently it stands at 47 pages long and it's the number of Israeli civilians that have died recently at the hands of Palestinian terrorism.

The Israeli town Sderot is the most bombed area in the world at present. Right now two young brothers are fighting for their lives in hospital; one has already lost a leg. They are two more victims of the relentless rocket attacks from Gaza.

Next time someone hysterically shrieks 'genocide' in regard to the Palestinians, see what happens when you ask them for any PROOF. They'll never be able to provide any. Because, of course, there is no 'genocide' happening.

The number of Palestinians is steadily increasing. That doesn't happen if 'genocide' is going on.

Interestingly, the ONLY people to speak of wishing to commit genocide are Hamas, the PLO, and Iran. The official charters of both Hamas and the PLO both demand that Israel is totally wiped out and that every Jew living there is slaughtered. Iran continues to issue threats over 'removing' Israel from the world map.

The Palestinians have indeed suffered - but not because of Israel. They were deceived by the leaders of the Arab world who told them to flee their homes ahead of the five Arab armies who then attacked Israel in 1948. They told the Palestinian Arabs they would get their homes back - and then left them to rot in camps in Egypt and Jordan.

TZIZIT - *sigh* Get a grip. Hitler was NOT Jewish, the Nazis were NOT Jewish. Do yourself a big favour and pick up a history book.

B is lying. She DID make that analogy, some weeks back when she referred to Jews and Israelis as 'Zionazis'.

Ah, there is a difference between being as morally bad as the Nazis and having the same amount of power and scope as the Nazis. Thus, Zionists have not been able to exterminate the Palestinians as there are Arab governments able to provide sanctuary.

I disagree with the moral equivalence argument, though we must not ever think either side in this messy conflict is as pure as the driven snow.

spider man
Well the process is ongoing…ultimately Israel is planning into killing all non-Jews everywhere…
And the elimination of the Palestinian children is at the top of the Israeli agenda…
