If it is holy, it will not fall. G-d preserves it. If you would like to argue about the destroyed temple here, I guess that was a different case since if it didn't happen, the whole story of the coming of the Messiah would not come true. That was G-d's willing and I think he is testing your patience and faith. So don't worry.

That wall was originally built as a retaining wall and still hold up the temple mount, to this day. If the wall fell, the soil would also soon slide into the plaza at the bottom, causing the mosque currently on the site of the ancient temple to collapse, due to the ground under it being gone. This would lead to much fighting between proponents of rebuilding the mosque and proponents of rebuilding the temple. If the temple was rebuilt, we would worship there. If the mosque was rebuilt, or neither was rebuilt, we would worship at the pile of the dirt that had previously been under the temple (before the mosque was built). |

first, u must ask yourself: do Jews even WORSHIP the western wall?
simple answer: no.
long answer: the only reason jews pray at the western wall, is because its a remaining of the walls guarding (!) the temple (beit hamikdash) that was destroyed by the Babylonians, and later by the Romans.
the wall itself, has no holiness, and therefor no sentimental value to the jews.
to compare: if you have a piece of the World Trade Center, you would keep the peace as a reminder of the past, even though the piece itself will never replace, act as, or bring back the World Trade Center.
a better question might be "what would happen to Israel?" i suppose they would go to war with anyone who bombed the wall. but nonetheless: the Jewish religion and nation would continue as it always has, without the wall. |

***WARNING***MESSIANIC MESSAGE*** Jesus told the woman at the well that there would come a day in which they would neither worship inJerusalem or on this mountain(Jacob) but in Spirit and in Truth. He meant that God now tabernacles in men not in buildings. This is why He is bringing the Jews home to Israel. To teach them this new covenant. Check out Zechariah 12-14 |

you would have no western wall of a temple left to pray at and your most sacred site would be gone or have to be rebuilt |

Jews (and nearly everyone else today) refer to it as the Western Wall. The term you use is an attemt to portray the Jews as something they are not.
The Western Wall is the holiest Jewish site in Jewish hands at present. It is the only thing that remains from the holy Temples (First and Second).

If the Western Wall fell, it could mean God would build the Third Temple, so all of us can worship there. |

We'll just build it up again.... |

People wailing underneath the wall? |

Wailing wall is on the Palestinian side and you are more than welcome to visit and do your wailing the way you know best. Mecca is in Saudi Arabia where Muslims are welcomed to visit every year and so is the Vatican. |

Why worship a wall, especially one that's wailing? Personally, it doesn't mean a thing to me. |

I'm not sure - worship to me does not so much involve a particular spatial location |

I guess you would have to find another place to "wail" at. |
