Zoser
Dear Ruby,
They said that everyone could throw his personality , conditions and burdens into a river and could pick a new ID , personality , burdens ..etc from that river, everyone chose his same ID ,personality, burdens...etc,,, we are who we are because of the experience and the conditions we had, everyone loves him/herself that can not imagine to be someone different completely,,,anyway
My life time friend, who was a dentist, and had also MD in tourism was dying to immigrate, finally he could do so in the age of 48...to Canada,, when I asked him, how life is with him (and he was always attacking life in Egypt),,,he told me (Different kind of Sh*t..) I was so moved by that...
Again , I reviewed my travel history and I found I have been living (more than a month till 4 years ) in 49 places worldwide,,I admit that I made a mistake to leave the USA. after almost 4 years there, but also I admit that life there was so rough to me,,,I think I really adore FRANCE, but now I think It is very crowded to me ... In everywhere I found something unique,Luxembourg let me feel how human should live, Guinea in Africa gave me peace of mind, I liked South Africa, ,, wow for hong kong,,, Bravo for emirate,, Nice people of Madinah ,KSA, Kuwaiti sometimes are not bad,,,most of Europe has their own smell and taste, but Life in Egypt is so easy, (surprised?) ,,,This miss , is easy, it is far more difficult to abide with lows and orders than living randomly,,, Egypt relaxes me...I guess the only place I do not wish to live in ,is Turkey ,,,why...I feel it is so tasteless, and troubled,,,anyway,
For the very few times I agree with Adam,,,nationalities are so man made, even the human rights states on the freedom of traveling and moving for all humans,, I would prefer to be nationality -less, I have met lots of people in my life tour, even Israelis, and I learned something from each, WE all are the same, we all are afraid of tomorrow, and we are all struggling to have a better place for us and for our families, regardless how we achieve that, but still we are all having the same aims,,,
They say your country is where you make a living, according to that I owe Holland a lot, I made all what I have there, but I also owe Egypt the education which enabled me to make that living...when I really get so old (if i live) I would love to live in a small garden , where?? I do not care with one condition to be away of people and the daily life problems,, that can happened in Egypt, in Guinea ,in Holland , even in Antarctica
,, but with that particular condition,,,

I was born a muslim, raised a Catholic, studied Eastern religions and reverted to Islam. Where a person is born makes no difference at all...the truth is always more important than nationalisim, pride in one's color, ancestory etc. In fact it is hadith that nationalisim is Strongly warned against, and a downfall of man.

Nice answer Zoser. I actually agree with Adam here also. Nationalism is not a good thing. Nothing in the world ever actually "belongs" to us including the world itself. I know that is not what Ruby was talking about in asking the question, but intersting to see the way people associate nationality with a personal identity.

i don't care really the only think i care about i'm muslim and i thank my GOD i'm born muslim

england..i like their accent hehehehehe

Hope
A Singaporean.....lol,

I love that country and i really do wish to go back and live there someday, i have lots of beautiful memories there, Singaporeans are very peaceful people, they have some strict morals and family values, they live together in peace and harmony, though there are three different ethnic backgrounds there, Chinese, Malaysians and Indians. They are very proud people, who know how to live their lives to the fullest and never waste a single moment. They are very patriotic and extremely hard working and finally that country has one of the lowest crime rates in the world. What more do u want me to say..........

BTW it is called clean and green Singapore coz over there you ll see some of the best scenery in the world.

But you know what, thank God i am an Egyptian, there is this charm that is truly unexplainable to being and Egyptian, we are very resilient and humorous people, with strong family values and we have our faith strongly built into our morals.

So what nationality would you wanna be???let me guess......hmmmmmm

@ Zoser: Great answer as usual..........You wish you cud live in a garden, my wish is for a house by the sea ANYWHERE.

i wasn't born Egyptian, but Polish, but if I was born Egyptian it would make my life easier (if i wanted to live here and deal with people). otherwise i wish there were no segregations like this - when i was a child i imagined all world was speaking the same language. when i discovered every country has its own language i was sure they speak Polish but just between themselves they use different languages :-)
