I was stationed in Egypt during Operation Restore Hope.. the Air Force housed me in a hotel called Forte Grand and I thought it was a very nice hotel. We rented horses every other day and rode around the pyramids and stuff.. I thought the Egyptians were very nice to us and treaded us kindly.
The only "bad" experience was seeing all the poor people in Egypt and how they lived.. made me appreciate what I had more. |
