Wow...that is a hard question to answer...there are SO many I would like to meet...
I would have to say King David. He was such an example of one who loved God with all his heart, but had human failings, too...yet, God considered him his friend.
Plus, he just seems like such an interesting person...a courageous warrior, but also a musician, songwriter and poet... |

Probably Esther. I've always admired her courage.
And then of course Moses. For obvious reasons. |

Although Moses is up there - when I was a younger man (and a much more fit man) I identified more with Samson and I would have liked to meet him. As for meeting a lady of the bible I guess Esther would be the lady I would like to meet (however, people have made a good argument on Eve and I can't disagree with that). However, since you said one figure - I would want to meet (and live from it) God - for after all he is what its all about.
Good Luck!!! |

I'd choose Job. He is an exceptional example of perseverance in suffering. |

I would love to sit down to coffee with Aaron, the brother to Moses. He strikes me as a true friend to all. Devoutly honest and there for all who needs him. I admire people with his kind of courage. |

Paul , the guy who went from being a respected Jewish scholar who persecuted Christians to being the greatest of the Apostles !
His writings are AMAZING ...try reading the book of Romans & the Acts of the apostles ... |

I have to take Kumara's answer on this one. King David. What a dynamic, yet so simplistic person.
I'll eventually meet Jesus. I'm not worried about that. :-) |

Judas, or Mary Magdalene. Purely because they are two of the most miss-represented figures in biblical history. No-one really knows who they were, only how they were portrayed by a negative majority.
And all this coming from an Agnostic! |

I don't want to meet anybody. I wish I can meet God himself and ask him why he keeps haters, violents, terrorists and wicked people on this Earth. |

Isaiah,OR dANIEL, or Ezekiel , or Saint John...who was shown as being a weak man with trembling hands on National Discovery Chanel..while He was like a lion..and almost an angel and the psychologists don't deserve to kiss his feet... |

I guess that would be Jesus, but actually He is ever so present already that someone else would be better, like John who was so close to Him and saw all that is yet to come, Sure like to know his impression of all that and any details if he could spare them... |

I'd go back to meet Abraham, thank him for being the father of the Jews and giving us the and of Israel 4,000 years ago. Then I would find Hagar's tent and just unload an entire 35 -round Uzi magazine into her body. Now who is gonna be the future- Ishmael's mommy? And hence, no problems in the year 2007 when I get back. |
