If you marry?

an Israeli citizen living in the United States, does that make you an automatic Israeli citizen?

Tequila
No, it's not automatic. Further, if you decide to move to Israel together, here's the procedure:
"If your spouse is an Israeli citizen and you were married abroad, you will need an apostille stamp on your marriage certificate in order for Misrad Hapnim to process your file. This stamp, like all other original documents, must be in your possession at the time you submit your application."

No - my cousin married an Israeli citizen and she did not automatically become an Israeli citizen.

Good Luck!!!

Serena d
No. In order to become an Israeli you the couple should immigrate to Israel. If you qualify for the law of return you will become a citizen immediately. Otherwise, you will have to naturalize and it will take a few years.
Your children will be Israeli and American.

Mimi-מימי- ميمي
I don't think so

you will need to ask for dual citizenship file some document and evidence contact the MFA or the MOIN... maybe you will need to stay in Israel for a couple of years but you'll get it just not automaticly

YES ACCORDING TO BI-LAW 827R4HF8 "ONCE AN ISRAELI ALWAYS AN ISRAELIA" BUT ALSO IN A LAW BOOK MADIY DOGO DOES LAW SHE WRITES "ONCE THE MARRIAGE OF A US AND ISRAELI IS SET THEY AND THERE PASSPORTS BECOME ONE".

Sam B
Not by U.S. law. Someone needs to answer for Israeli law. There are dual citizenship situations, but those usually pertain to children born abroad.
