Yes i will say what i believe, we are all entittled to our own opinion; but, i do usually try to be diplomatic about it (sometimes i miss the mark). I dont tell others what they should think & i expect the same respect back. Same as, i believe healthy discussion is a good thing, if we all just agree with each other, then it will be boring.
If Reiko is right & you are asking in connection with the section, i must say that there have been times recently that i have seen things written that i have found to be quite repulsive to my way of thinking, & i made a decision NOT to comment. As i said, we are all entlttled to our opinions, i didnt comment because i didnt want to start a war, not because i thought you might hate me.

No I don't decorate my words or change my mind to suit the mentality of others as I will never please all the people whatever I did or said , the most important thing is to satisfy myself , besides some people hate me for my opinion itself regardless to the way it is said .

I am known by all friends and family for my big mouth! I can't "decorate" anything but my daughter's birthday cake! I am not diplomatic in the least. I used to blurt out whatever comes into my mind and it used to get me into trouble sometimes. The only improvement in that department lately is that I have started to try to keep my mouth shut if I know people won't like what I have to say. But if asked, I will say what I believe without any "decorations" regardless of the consequences.

I say what I want. the way I say it depends on the other person I'm talking to.
Some people understand what I want to say if it's decorated and said very softly or even hinted at.
Others don't get it if it hits them in the face!!
with the latter type, you just have to be blunt as a piece of wood!

Yes...... i will say what i want, but i won't offend anybody, this is not the same as to "decorate" yr speech or to be more blunt to "kiss ***", i never do that and i HATE people who do it. BUT BUT there is always a nice decent way to get yr point thru without picking a fight or causing a scene.

If i see that all people hate me i won't decorate it but i will try to put myself in their shoes and see the subject the way they see it to try to understand them, then i will be completly neutral and try to judge it my self with all the facts clarified, if i found out that i was wrong (and as you said we all make mistakes) i will step backward and apologize if needed and if i am right i will try to express it with the least hurtful way but the term decorate it isn't nice to me, i just don't want to hurt anybody!

i would use both... it depends on the person on the other side... if i think he/she is sensitive and being blunt while giving an opinion will hurt so i would decorate it...

for me, giving my opinion is wat matters the most .. the way i deliver can change...

never! I say my opinion loud and clear and if I have to decorate it I will decorate with with something they won't like lol. I've gotten myself in a lot of trouble (especially in Egypt) cuz when u deal with ppl there, especially relatives, u really need to think abt what ur gonna say b4 u say it and be careful what to say. I've been in trouble a lot cuz I cannot decorate my words we maba3rafshi agamil. but this is how it is, this is how it shud be, and this is how it will stay. love it or leave it.

I find it very hard to be someone I am not and this does not always work in my favor.The people who come to know me soon realize that I am very much a person of strong convictions and I am not afraid to speak my mind and make my opinion known.
It is up to the individual whether they like and me approve of me or they don't.
At the same time I will never go out of my way to antagonize someone and try and say as little as possible if I cant agree with the opinions being voiced when I am in public.

Addit: As someone once said "You can please some of the people some of the time, but never all of the people all of the time."

I'll say it as it makes the truth and that I believe in it so much , but at the same time I'd not hurt anyone , If u want to tell someone ur opinion a bout something and u r afraid he'll be mad just try to give him an idea about and use a good phrase to tell it , don't say everything in any way , and also don't stop talking to satisfy people , just say the truth in a nice way .

Well, let's differentiate between two separate, major things;

If we're talking about MY OPINION, then everyone's opinions are subject to be right or wrong, besides, if my opinion seems not welcomed nor will it be of any benefit, I tend to keep it to myself. While if it's unpleasant but I feel it's true and it will benefit someone, I'll say it in as nice way as possible.

Then comes another, different thing; that's if we are talking about A TRUTH, not my opinion, and in this case I will say it anyway but in a nice way also.
