always go with my gut instinct.. and it is usually agaisnt the grain of the "norm" i am odd.. people think i am wierd. but if it suits me and it works to my advantage and i actually benefit from it then why not be unique.

i always made sure that i set myself apart from people... its funny i am more of an egyptian and i was born here.

generally i go with the flow cause i believe that everything happens for a reason, and believe in what God wants.. but sometimes i swim against te current as hard as i can..

like the time my dad passed away, i swam against the current against my family's opinions for my own good and my mother's good..

BUT i wish i did swim against the current many times, like the time i got married,concerning the arrangements and the timing..

Usually with the flow.. tends to make people happy. but occassionaly i attempt to swim against it.. usually failing... and the water winning against me, i go back to do the breaststroke with the flow.

Well, to get philisophical, In life.......sometimes the current changes while you are going with the flow, you must swim against the current to get to the destination of your choice. Don't choose a different destination just because thats the way the current is taking you.

I do both, sometimes life can get bad because of differences in other people so that can be something like I don't have a gf or bf or I don't have money that sort of thing. I might be descibed as going with the flow and seein where that leads me. just keep your head high and trust God to lead you to the right direction even though you have to wait a while.

I swim against the current and right now it seems to me to be a raging river of whitecaps!
It's bothersome but I'm not worried, I know I will get to where I am headed and I know that the white waters are just a hindrance to be overcome.
I'm running against the current. Going with the flow will ultimately kill me.

depends on the situation an my particular mood at the time. Sometimes is behooves your swim against the current...the rewards can be larger...and there is a time to go with the flow and act like you just part of the herd. Yah know. Sort of like a wolf in sheeps clothing. *shrug* comes with life experience really.
