Conclusion... Iran is not threatening the US or Israel. The US is the one with armed forces at two of Iran's borders; Iran should be feeling threatened by America not the other way around. Iran does not recognize the state of Israel and that is a political matter not a matter of defense.

Are you psychic? How do you know what the president of Iran is going to say in a speech? How do you know that he is even going to give a speech? Iran has never threatened the US and if they threaten Israel that is not the US's problem.
As far as cutting spending on combat weapons and defense systems, unless you haven't noticed the republicans have gotten the country into just a bit of financial trouble. I wonder what caused that situation to arise. Could it possibly be irresponsible spending on long drawn out uneccessary wars? The Americans probably need to focus a little more on their situation at home then on fighting wars in 12 different muslim countries. Don't worry the US is and will always be far from "sitting ducks." I don't think that any of the countries that would consider attacking the US actually have the means to fight a war with them.
If you consider Al-Quida to be terrorists then why do you care what their deffinition of any word is?
However the funniest thing that you seem to be concerned about is not developing any new nuclear weapons. I don't know what we will do without anymore nukes. Iran can't do anything to the US, it's all rhetoric, it would be nice to see Israel actually fight their own fight for once. Only Jews in America care about our relationship Israel. America would be better off to stay neutral, cut foreign spending to Israel and let them fight their own fight. If you are the chosen people you should have nothing to worry about, God will save you without the help of our nation if you truly are His chosen people. We have too many politicians in America more loyal to Israel then America, that is the biggest problem.

Actually, they're primarily threatening Israel because the Islamic Republic of Iran is obviously going to have a problem with a Jewish state operating on what they perceive as holy land. Because the Jews essentially purchase all of their hardware from us, or we give it to them, they will consider an attack from Israel to be an attack from us.

Throughout history, there has ALWAYS been someone who wishes to alienate the Jews ( or Israel). While Mr. Obama may not realize what his role in the world scene would be, this is the part he would play in world politics IF he serves as president of the USofA.

Iran has always wanted to obliterate Israel off the map. They will do everything possible to accomplish this no matter who is President of the USA.

But I believe that they think Obama will be for them because of the question of him being Muslim. (people don't write me and tell me whether he is or not, I don't know)

We need to strengthen our defense systems and our government. And as far as my opinion about Israel, we should continue to support them against being over run by Iran or anyone else.
