it's not only u. My husband just told me they said on the news that there is something wrong with all DSL connections in Egypt cuz a lot of wires have been cut due to the weather or something like that. Hope it wont take too long to fix

it's very bad, most of the time is slower than a dial-up connection in the US, if it works at all to begin with. very annoying, but people lived for thousands and thousands of years without even telephones ;) . alhamdulilah anyway....just recieved news that it is in recent days a major problem all over egypt, and hope to be back online within the week insha'Allah.

I'm in Luxor and since around midnight I have been having problems which I thought was local but maybe its the provider.
I sat for about 2 minutes waiting for the link to my mail to happen it usually takes .38 of a second to link to a page.
I am now wondering if that is why its so quiet here tonight in the Egypt category. Or did they just all go to bed!
Looks like we are the night owls Noha hoot, hoot,hoot!

addit Dr Adham diagnoses a week of this,oh no.
But if its fibre optics Hsafer will swim out and fix them, go super doc!

well i don't live in Egypt right now but yes i just read on the news that the cables in the Mediterranean was damaged some how which is affecting the net services in Egypt

yeah it is bad here too....
the underwater internet's fibre optical cable has been damaged and because we are also here in Pakistan facing problems with connectivity!
so its not just you or who is living in Egypt... it the same here as well! =)

The connection stinks! sooooo slow, I can't even talk to my sweet hope :(( Messenger keeps on shutting off. As if it wasn't giving me enough trouble without these new net problems!
