Tel Aviv is a vibrant city that is totally safe. I was just there is past week, and they love Americans there. All the things you hear in the media are isolated to the south. |

I visited Isreal for 2 weeks with my mom in 2005. Stayed in Tel Aviv for about 3 nights 4 days. It was very cool. I was 21 from texas and been to Iraq as a soldier. Isreal's crime rate is like 0. We went to bethleham, jericho, and about an 8 hour journey through the westbank by ourselves with a palestinian dude in a van. Do not do that (go to palestinian controlled areas) I think Isreal is one of the domesticly safest nations on earth, its just that the muslims want to wipe the jew off the earth. Sorry for that reality. |

not, not at all, there are many Americans living in Tel Aviv and are very happy.
If there is a slight danger in tel aviv, the first place to temporary to close is the USA consulate and it is open. |

Tel Aviv is one of the most calm cities in Israel, their is arabs but very peacefull.

If you're asking if Tel Aviv is dangerous in general, think about this: The chance that you will get hurt by a terrorist attack is WAY lower than the chance you will get hit by a car in america and die.

no. israel is at war right now, but during a time of peace it's perfectly safe. i have done it and you're more likely to get in a car crash than be killed in the middle east. right now, israel isn't the safest place in the world but it's not THAT close to gaza. and this war isn't going to last forever. |
