Is it possible that Arab countries are jealous of Israel? |
All that hatred of the "satanic Zionist pigs" stems from something, right? The fact that Israel is a western democracy and has one of the highest standards of living in the Middle East should say something. Israel. A shining gem of modernity, Israel has pursued technology, education and health care for all its citizens. A truly modern state, democratic Israel is a respected, though not always well liked, member of the world community. It enjoys all the trappings of modern society but one -- peace.
When Arabs look out over their vast, dusty lands at the shining skyscrapers of Israel, perhaps their anger is directed, in part, at what Israel has accomplished but they have not. |

It is very likely.
The truth is that the Arab League keeps the Palestinian refugees issue as a political weapon against Israel, with which they continue to fool the United Nations and propagate their perfidious policy. The proofs of such intention are given by Arab sources themselves: At a refugee conference in Homs, Syria, the Arab leaders declared that any discussion aimed at a solution of the Palestine problem which will not based on ensuring the refugees' right to annihilate Israel will be regarded as desecration of the Arab people and an act of treason. In 1958, former director of UNRWA Ralph Galloway declared angrily while in Jordan that the Arab states do not want to solve the refugee problem. They want to keep it as an open sore, as an affront to the United Nations, and as a weapon against Israel. Arab leaders do not give a damn whether Arab refugees live or die. King Hussein, the sole Arab leader that directed integration of the Arabs, in 1960 stated:
"Since 1948 Arab leaders have approached the Palestine problem in an irresponsible manner.... They have used the Palestine people for selfish political purposes. This is ridiculous and, I could say, even criminal."
Between 1948 and 1967, the Arab flow into the Israeli territories administered by them (Judea, Samaria and Gaza) was intensified. The UNRWA reported in 1951-52 that 200,000 Arab "refugees" were languishing in Gaza, along with 80,000 original residents who barely made a living before the refugees arrived, notwithstanding, a project to accommodate 10,000 families in the Sinai area (then under Egyptian control) was suspended. How is that the Gaza Strip, having around 80,000 allegedly native residents and twice and half that number of immigrants is only fifty years later overpopulated, with about one and half million of "native people dwelling there since ancestral times"?
The Arab states are acting a downright discrimination policy against Palestinians, preventing them with all means to achieve any sort of integration in the Arab countries (the same ones from where the Palestinians' grandparents emigrated to the Holy Land). Iraq and Syria were the most appropriate lands for resettlement of the so-called Palestinian refugees. Between 1948 and 1951, more than 120,000 Jews left Iraq to settle in Israel, leaving all of their goods and homes behind them. Most of them were businessmen and artisans, and many were wealthy. Their departure created a large gap in Iraq's economy; in some fields, such as transport, banking and wholesale trades, it reached serious proportions, and there was also a dearth of white collar workers and professional men. Salah Jabr, former dictator of Iraq recognized that the emigration of 120,000 Jews from Iraq to Israel is beneficial to Iraq and to the Palestinian Arabs because it makes possible the entry into Iraq of a similar number of Arab refugees and their occupation of the Jewish houses there. Nevertheless, Palestinians in Iraq have been "allowed to live in the country but not to assume Iraqi nationality," despite the fact that the country needs manpower and "is encouraging Arab nationals to work and live there by granting them citizenship, with the exception of Palestinians."
Syria was also almost a desert in the early fifties and a very suitable land to give home to the "refugees," not only those already dwelling in Syria but also those in Lebanon and Jordan. In 1949 a newspaper editorial from Damascus stated that Syria needs not only 100,000 refugees, but five million to work the lands and make them fruitful. Indeed, two years later the Syrian government officially requested that half a million Egyptian agricultural workers be permitted to emigrate to Syria in order to help develop Syrian land which would be transferred to them as their property. The responsible Egyptian authorities have rejected this request on the grounds that Egyptian agriculture is in need of labor as well. Syria was offering land rent free to anyone willing to settle there. It even announced a committee to study would-be settlers' applications. In fact, Syrian authorities began the experiment by moving 25,000 of the refugees in Syria into areas of potential development in the northern parts of the country, but the rigid Arab League position against permanent resettlement prevailed. Palestinians in Syria are still regarded as "refugees" and discriminated as such.
The situation in all the remaining Arab states is the same: even though the great majority of the so-called Palestinian refugees have now left the camps for a better life as immigrant workers, they are being denied citizenship in the Arab countries to which they had moved. Regardless of their good behavior and the many years they are living there, they are still discriminated and denied full integration in society. They must be kept as "refugees" forever, until they may occupy the Land of Israel once that Jews have been expelled or annihilated, that is the ultimate aim of the Arab League policy. Of course, they would never achieve in doing so, as every time that the Arabs attacked Israel, the Arabs have undergone a shameful defeat.

That is very likely.
Ramallah is an Israeli city currently under occupation by the Palestinian Authority. It is located in the Judea section of Samaria and Judea, 10 kilometers northwest of Jerusalem at an elevation of 2700 feet above sea level on the crest of a mountain range, near occupied el Bireh. Its population consists of approximately 23,000 residents. The number of Christian residents has fallen sharply in recent years because of actions taken by Islamist radicals.

no west bank and gaze aren't welfare states, they are occupied states and under control by the jew state. they cannot functuion as a free state. the jew state won't let them. they are imprisoned. that is a lot different then the jew state that parasites off the USA and Germany and any other country they can. the jew state is known for this. so don't even pretend. |

Yes, I guess that's a good excuse you could give me.
Why do I somehow agree?
Maybe they are jealous of the fact that Israeli's were able to live and grow on that land when it should have been the Palestinians who were living on that land!!!
If someone stole my land and kicked me out of my home, I would be a little jealous that they were able to experience living in one of the most beautiful countries in the world instead of me. |

Take the American dollars given everyday to Israel and send them to the Palestinians and see the difference it makes.
Plus part of the strategic plan is to destroy any build up of schools, banks, etc, to keep them down. This I believe is the real reason for the destruction of Iraq, they were doing too well
A "western democracy" it is not until you have the votes of all the people |

Yes, it is very possible that citizens of Arab countries are jealous of Israel.
Think about it - look at how much Israel has that Arab countries don't.
In Israel, women have equal rights to men. In Saudi Arabia and many other Islamic states, a woman cannot legally drive a car, and must obey her husband.
Israel is a democracy, all politicians are elected, and everyone can vote. Pretty much anyone can run for office.
Most Islamic countries are run by a King/Sultan/Supreme Leader/Dictator, who is not democratically elected.
In Israel, the rule of law applies, and everyone is equal under the law. In Saudi Arabia, a man's testimony is equal to that of two women.
Israel does not discriminate based on sexual orientation. In most Arab countries, homosexuality is illegal. In Iran, homosexuals have been arrested and hanged. Many did not receive or trial, or did get a trial but were not allowed a lawyer.
Israel has modern hospitals, schools and infrastructure. Can the same be said for Syria? Iraq? Afghanistan?
Many Arab citizens of Israel have done anything possible to remain Israeli citizens and avoid getting Palestinian citizenship at all costs. The reason? The standard of living in Israel is much better than the standard of living in Arab nations.
So yes, quite a few Arabs are jealous. |

Prophecy of Crazy Cat!

If you say Israel has the highest standard of living, i doubt. There are other arab countries which have waaay better living conditions than Israel, e.g. UAE.
Eventhough Palestine has been regarded as a poor arab country, its funny how non-arabs and jews call them names like "fcuking arabs, fcuking palestinians, fcuking this, fcuking that, etc". So, does that also mean non-arabs and jews are "jealous" of Palestinians? and for what reason? for being a palestinian? for being an arabian?
It is not about jealousy. The bottomline is, if you treat other people with love and respect, then others would treat you the same.
But base on the names you guys being called, it obviously shows people (goyims, non-jews, muslims and non-muslims) hate your attitude towards them. Its time to change. |

Yes, my distant relatives who live in the west bank are jealous. Ya know why? Because their "High standard of living" started because of their low standard of living! The Palestinians lived great lives before all of this hoop phlap started. You have to understand the history on why they would be sooooooooooo jealous.
For years in Christan EUROPEAN countries, Jews have suffered racist vile antisemitism, they were subjected do regular discrimination and regular pogroms (burning and the harassment of Jewish communities), and being forced into ghettos and barely coexisting in society. The one place in the entire world where Jews were NOT discriminated against nor subjected to pogroms was the Muslim world. And so much was that the case that when Christianity came back to power in Spain and when the muslims left the jews left with the because they feared the Christan antisemitism and that was why for centuries so many jews are to be found today in areas such as Morocco and along the north african coast because under the protection of the muslims, the jews left europe. When palestine was turned into a chaotic and violent place when britain gave the jewish refugees somebody else's country who already had jews living side by side with BOTH Christan's and Muslims. Actually, my grandmother *who used to live in the city of Jerusalem* had neighbors that were jewish and muslim and they baby sat each others kids and were friendly towards another and would do ANY favor for them! And this was going on for centuries without the slightest trace of discrimination. And what happened was Christan antisemitism Europe, which massacred 6 million jewish people, in addition to poles and gypsies in the greatest crime in human history was paid for not by the Christan countries that practiced antisemitism on a daily basis but was paid by the very people Completely innocent of that Holocaust who have never persecuted the jews or never pogromed the Jews. The people who were completely innocent were kicked out of their homes (my grandmother being one of them) and exiled and dispersed to make way for a Zionist idea, by atheist Jews, not real jews. This was all started by this idea, and Hamas is just a breed of the conflict and the anger, humiliation, degradation's the Palestinian people that have been going on for 62 years. This was all started by the Zionist movement, the Palestinian people were starved, nobody cared, they were placed out of their homes, nobody cared, they are currently treated like animals, nobody cared. Their hospitals don't have enough medical supplies or the electricity does not work, and nobody cares. Is it because they are arab? Is it because they are muslim? Who knows? But it is not right. Those who did not commit any form of pogroms, genocide, antisemitism should not have to pay for the Nazi regime's crimes. And people call them the bad guys. It amazes me still to this day. If we were in the situation as the palestinians are today we would be doing far worse. You have to view it from the other perspective. What right did Britain have to give the Jewish refugees somebody else's country? A country that had to suffer not because of their crimes, but somebody else's.
So basically, if a country starved, shot, and bombed the living sh*t out of your children and gave them little education and basically imprisioned them in an unproper ghetto, while their children basically lived like normal kids wouldn't you call the "satanic zionist pigs"?
This question only proves how arrogant you are |

The people are jealous. The ruling elite is AFRAID.Israel is the constant challenge to the ruling elite of the Arab countries, because it could in just 60 years have achieved what the Arab Islamic countries culd not achieve in 600 years. That is why they, contrary to all the facts, are constantly telling to their people that israel is prosperous only due to the U.S. help. And that is why they are blaming israel and USA of their peoples´poverty. |

As an Israeli who lives in Israel, yet doesn't try to get too emotional about things like this, I would like to proudly give my opinion regarding this question, and I am open to comments and questions, although I cannot speak entirely for my religiously, politically, and racially diverse country.
I believe that before Israel gained independence in 1948, the small minority of wealthy Arabs with power were very worried by the creation of a non-Arab state as soon as they began to sense that the Palestinian Jewish community was planning to form an actual state there (forming states was a very new phenomenon in the region). Let's remember that the entire Israel of today (including Gaza and the West Bank) had a very low population. We are talking about mostly peasants, some city-dwellers, and a few nomads. City-dwellers were a good decent mix of Jews, Muslims and Christians (speakers of many languages). Although the land was ruled by the Ottomans way up there in Turkey, they pretty much stayed out of politics - Why? Because population was small and didn't need to much maintenance. People and ethno-religious communities pretty much ran things on their own.
Today Israel is a semi-flourishing, modern nation state, but when it was formed, the Jews of the world were really the dirt of Europe and having Palestine was nothing to be oh so proud of (unless you were a Zionst Jew - meaning a Jew who believes that Israel is the birthplace of the culture and faith). The non-Jewish resident of the region rebelled and fought against the Jewish population on command of the strong Arab armies and rich wealthy Muslim families. It was this violently-anti Jewish state behavior (which I will not go into details) that proved that Muslim Palestinians had no intentions of being a part of the formation of this country. In the end, they essentially lost. At the same time, Israel did little to make their fellow Muslim Palestinians feel like they could be a part of the state, as the nationlism was rallied with Jewish Ideals, icons, and of course language. Although non-Jewish Israeli citizens are protected and enjoy many rights, the state at a whole doesn't do much to make them feel like Israelis - not that they want to be Israeli in any way. Violence instead of dialogue and efforts to become more involved in the bettering of the region never, and will never work. On the other hand, you have the real loosers in the battle who are the Palestinians who are still suffering from their unwillingness to create the state, and Israel's unwillingness to make them part of the country. Violence is still the patent in Gaza for winning rights and driving the Jews out, but I believe that the situation in the West Bank is improving, as the economy is improving. I believe that once a Palestinian economy is stable with a government willing to work with Israel, a state should be formed and that year of peace will be needed to gain trust between the two nations and that eventually the idea of merging the two states will not sound dangerous to anyone. But this is something that would take many years, and most people would think this idea is crazy but think about countries living in peace today which actually fought much worse and bloodier with each other than we and the Arabs are fighting!!! At least here in Israel Jews and Muslims can be friends and neighbors, but when we talk about politics things get messy.
Jealousy is really found on both sides and in many ways. Israelis might be slightly jealous that the Arabs are a huge power in the region and are much larger in number. Arabs are jealous of Israelis for the things that they have accomplished and the donations that Jews have made to the world, but view them as a people who have negleted them in particular and wonder why such a great people who have done so many good things, as well as suffered so much could allow for Palestinians to be alienated. I believe that truth lies in between and that basically things didn't work out too well for the Palestinians and are still trying, but in the most wrong and violent ways to acheive their goals. Their methods are setting them back further and further, but I have faith that now the Palestinian Goverment in the West Bank is willing to make improving their lives a priority rather than destroying Israel. As far as Gaza is concerned maybe an international force could mediate but we are not ready to join the countries together, and busses people out are not an option.... |

It's possible but I think the hate predates Israel. The 1929 massacre of Jews in the ancient non-Zionist community of Hebron, instigated by the Mufti, had nothing to do with standards of living. This was a pogrom, one among many, perpetrated by Arabs against Jews.
Brown Eyed Girl, missing from your narrative is the fact that the Arabs started the violence, and lost their land in a war of annihilation that they declared and waged against the Jews. |

Yes, they are jealous, but their jealousy goes back much farther than when Israel was reinstated as a sovereign country in 1948. In order to see where all this jealousy actually began you need to go back thousands of years to the time of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael. The jealousy between the mothers of these 2 sons of Abraham is the same jealousy that feeds the Arabs today.
Mohammad not only created a new ideology that would to a great degree join together all the Arab tribes into one religion but would also include governmental and military aspects that were intended to replace and subjugate Judaism and steal the birthright of Isaac. It's all based on the long held and ERRONEOUS belief that Ishmael was the heir to the covenant God made with Abraham.
It has taken more than 1400 years for the Arabs to utilize Mohammad's ideology to their advantage and build the imperialist nation he dreamed of enjoying in his day. We wouldn't be seeing this today if they'd not found oil in the Middle East. But the wealth they've attained from that nasty black gold is what has paved the way for thousands of years of jealousy to grow into a foaming rage against God's Chosen People, the Israelite's/Israeli's/Jews.
Those who know and understand prophecy know how this will all turn out too. Those who don't, will probably never understand how this all came about and will not even begin to have a clue where it will end. |
