Absolutely Egypt is safe. I'm not sure of the exact figure but there are actually tens of thousands of Americans living in Egypt.

Yes it is very safe. I also know American who are actually residing in Cairo and are very safe and happy. Egypt welcomes all tourist from all countries.

if you think that Egyptians hates Americans , i correct that is not right Egyptians are angry with your gov`s situation in Iraq And Palestine,that doesnt mean we hate you ,absolutely ,for me i like Americans i Had friends lived with American families,and they were so kind with my friends ,i`m looking forward to take MBA form US and work there too .
i cant tell you how hard for us to get through the security areas which seted up along tourists places like Hurgada& Sharm El shaekh

yes, all the tourists are safe here & the american which they work in egypt are safe too & happy cause they stay in egypt.
in egypt you can finish your day 3:00 am & you can walk in the street without any fairs not like america may be it is safe more than USA.
