That is very much untrue. Of course you can have Bibles in Israel - who have asked that question either has some serious problems or was just trying to be funny (or maybe both). My parents bought me a Bible when they were in Israel to give to me as a present.
Good Luck!!! |

Not true.
As much as some would like others to believe. The Israelis are not small minded to prevent others from keeping their Bibles. The country is full of Churches, Monasteries, Catholic School, Shops et. |

Bibles are not Illegal. In fact there is a large Chrisitan population in Israel--complete with churches of every faith.
The Old city has its own Christian quarter where one can find the famous Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
Israel opens her doors knowing she is a Holy place to many faiths. |

No. Israel is not like the other middle eastern countries. |

No. Unlike Saudi Arabia, which does not allow any religious practices except for that of the majority, Israel had churches of many different religions, and allows in anyone's Bible. |

Perhaps you're thinking of Saudi Arabia? Bibles are illegal there, as is practising any religion other than Islam.
In Israel, you will find people of all faiths worshipping as they please. Remember, over 20 per cent of Israelis are not Jewish.
WITTY WEASEL
Unusually, I find myself disagreeing with you! Many people are genuinely unsure about what goes on in Israel, and they think it's the same as other Middle Eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia. Rather than insult them when they ask, isn't it better to give them helpful answers? I think it must be. |

its so sad to see how much people really dont know about israel....
we are a democratic country and of course bibles are not illegal in israel

No, but it illegal for Christians or other non-Jewish religions to polythetize (convent or attempt to convert).
This is odd considering the majority of Israeli supporters are American Conservitive Christians. |

I honestly don't know whether to laugh or cry at the abysmal stupidity of this question . . . .
I'm just gonna take my easy deuce and go look for some intelligent question to answer. |
