Lebanon clearly has its charm and the Lebanese are the most patriotic people and they will thell you their country is the most beautiful, their food is the best, their women the prettiest...
if they made cards, they would tell you it is the fastest.
that is national pride.
Lebanon IS a beautiful country and the landscape and the views are amazing.
furthermore services are excellent : restaurants, hotels, clubs
and its a great shopping place
there are nice archeological artefacts and museums to visit : Byblos, Baalbek, Tyr, Sidon, etcccc
in the middle east : I would also recommend : cairo for the pyramids (and only the pyramids) the rest is too much of a mess
sharm el sheikh for the beach, and the nightlife
you can also think of a nile cruise to visit all egyptian artefacts, it is pretty nice but find yourself a fun boat to take (your generation and same langage)
and dubai : for the artificially made everything !!! no soul but worth seeing once in a lifetime.

I visited a lot of arab country, and i think that all the middle east must be visited.
Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey

I just cam back from a six months holiday ( actually it started as a one month). I could tell you in all honesty that it is the best place to be. The people are generous, the mountains are beautiful, the sea is amazing and best of all, the food. Try it and you will never regret it.

it's an amazing country you can do whatever you like, and you will find there everything you would like to be in ur vacation.
it's the vest in the middle east yes, because you have a lot of options there, Mountains, beach, green villages, and much more.

Every country has its' attractions.....the main attraction of Lebanon is that it has so many in such a small area & if you go at the right time of year you can sample most of them in a very short period of time !

It is stunningly beautiful with that blend of the exotic & the modern ...the old & the new ....the sea & the snow capped mountains ...the unique cuisine that tantalises your tastebuds....the friendliness that draws you back time & time again.

I don't know about best place but i do know i live there and will tell you what beautiful things there is:
Jeita (which will be one of the seven wonders in the world)
ABC ashrafieh (it's a great mall!)
Sami sea food restaurant
And there's lots more but i can't think of them

I would say that almost anywhere in the middle east would be beautiful, depending on your point of view. I think the correct question is would it be the safest place for you to travel in the middle east, and the answer is no.

Its really nice, i haven't been to all of the countries in the middle east to answer this question ... but a guess ; no its not the BEST BEST , each country is unique in its own things

Lebanon is a very beautiful country

But I think that Oman has the most beautiful nature in the middle east,
Dubai for shopping and entertainment activities Lebanon and Syria for historical ancient ruins and antiques.

It depends on what you're looking for and where you're from. It also depends on where you visit. Some areas are in shambles after Hamas used it for a hideout after striking Israel and kidnapping two Israeli soldiers.

As a Russian, I can tell you that even though I'm in Canada Russia is the most beautiful country to go to in the whole world. You'd be better off asking a traveler who went to several. But I myself would go to Israel or Egypt ;)

I've nerver heard of Lebanon as a tourist spot. I guess you could go to one of those fantasy terrorist training camps. If I was going to vacation in the Middle East then I would be leaning more towards Dubai.
