Is there alot of discrimination against arabs inside Israel?

There is *some*, but not a *lot*. There aren't a lot of people who will refuse to talk to or give service (in a restaurant or other business) to an Arab. There is, however, some fear of traveling into Arab villages (with some justification--there have been Arabs, including Israeli Arabs who help terrorists), so there are some services that they don't receive.

Israelis are some of the NICEST people I've ever met. I'm sure there is some descrimination there but name a country in the world that is 100% descrimination free? Every country has racists. And the person a few posts above who said they treat eastern europe immigrants like crap is talking out of their ***. My grandparents immigrated there from Eastern Europe and they're treated VERY well just like everyone else there I know that lives there.

My family lives in Israel and I visit alot and NO they dont most people who have answered on here don't live there and have never been so you have no right to answer this NO THEY DONT TREAT THEM BADLY but if they treat the Israeli Jews badly then yes they'll do it back but they dont target Arabs and discriminate against them............

palestinians are among the nicest people i have ever met. I dont believe everybody thinks bad of the israelis, on the contrary, they are seen as the good people, and the arabs are taken as terrorists, which is not true at all! just compare the number of deaths of palestinians versus the number of jews dead. The solution: give back palestinians their homeland.

oh god... everyone's answering just based on watching the news! people- don't you know all the news stations are against israel?? of course that's what they'll show! I LIVE THERE and from my experience everyone's just making it sound like we treat arabs in such a terrible way... well that's bull! if their sole reason for living is to destroy our people, don't you think we'd treat them a little different than our fellow jews?? don't you ever watch the news when OUR people are killed? how the hell can they give the Palestinians their land when they don't want it? DO YOU EVEN READ THE NEWS OR KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE HISTORY OF ISRAEL? The land at least Gaza strip and the Golan heights had been given to them once,but they rejected it and instead resorted to fighting ad bombing the Israelis who HAVE TO RETALIATE SO THEY FIGHT BACK.You ever heard of the Yom Kippur war when Israel was attacked on their holiest days and decimated? THEY NEVER FOUGHT BACK BECAUSE YOM KIPPUR IS SPENT IN PRAYER!!! Gaza was offered once again when Clinton was in office and the a s s holes under arafat refused and again instead decided to cry murder and took to killing off and bombing Israelis. When Sharon recently forced off Israelis off the strip, weren't there bombings,again by the PALESTINIANS because they'd rather have the Israelis there and continue the massacre under the pretense of taking back their land?

From what I know from reading and researching the history of Israel and the Jews,they DO NOT discriminate against arabs. WHEN ISRAEL WAS FIRST ESTABLISHED,THE FIRST SETTLERS WHO WERE MOSTLY JEWS ESCAPING FROM EUROPE AND SURVIVORS OF THE HOLOCAUST ALLOWED THE PALESTINIANS WHO WERE ALREADY LIVING IN ISRAEL TO STAY ON WITH THEM. THE PALESTINIANS WERE NOT MSTREATED OR TOLD TO GET OUT,BUT SOME OF THEM DID BECAUSE THEY FELT DISGRUNTLED. NOW THEY HAVE THE GAZA STRIP,WHAT ARE THEY DOING WITH IT? Israel has become a police state and they have a very racist society, If you are not Israeli born, of Israeli born parents, or a Sabra, youÂ´ve limited chances in life. They treat jews from the USSR, Eastern European countries, Ethiopia, not well, so you can only imagine how the discrimination against arabs is like. It is difficult to understand, no matter how much I try, how a people that have suffered so much, have become worst than their aggressors. Nothing can justify what they do. I just finished watching the news, and was wondering who will ever be able to put a stop to their actions.

Well if I lived in Israel and knowing that the Arabs are trained from birth to hate me, then I think I would most certainly be suspicious at the very least. If you are an Arab, why do you want to go to Israel? I would be suspicious at the very though of that!
Best keep away, the land belongs to the Jews so stop trying to steal it. There is plenty of land in Saudi Arabia or Pakistan try there and leave the Jews alone and let them live in peace. Everyone knows that it is ONLY the Arabs that are causing trouble and ONLY Arabs are terrorists. They go out of their way to kill innocent children, even going into schools like the one in Russia recently and killing school children, yes Islam is a religion of hate and death. Best keep out of Israel until you decide to become peaceful people.
