Is there something nice that will happen in Palestine in the near future? |
As a Muslim, I always wish good for my Muslim brothers and sisters in Palestine and also for the Christian Palestinians but I have a feeling that we are going to see something good shortly which will change the Palestinian scenario forever. Lately I have been unable to update myself on the Palestinian situation, are there any positive developments going on in Palestine? |

when the trees speak and say "behind me stands a jewish man!"- Quran
palestine will be free inshallah. all we can do is wait and fight. fight and wait. they can call us terrorists, thieves, whatever they want. we wont be intimidated and will continue our fight. palestine is ours...always has been and always will be.
dandyl, how can you tell me you googled palestine and nothing comes up?? palestine has hundreds of thousands of supporters. the only thing keeping them shut up is the US. if there was no palestine, what would we call ourselves? what would our nationality be? i would rather die and burn than call myself an "israeli". there is no pride in being an israeli. they are thieves and heartless monsters. they rape girls, kill infants, make young wives widows, make children orpahns, bulldoze hundreds and thousands of homes. what is so wonderful about that? us palestinians are fighting for our land...and we wont rest until we rid palestine of all israelis and jews.
the only reason you find israel on every map and not palestine, is because the US pays for that.
yes brother, something wonderful lies ahead for palestine....we will win soon. inshalla. from here, all i can do is pray. i have visited palestine before, and let me tell you the treatment the jews treated the palestinians....was horrible.
they will try to hide the truth at any costs, even if it means killing infants and stealing homes.
i have asked simple, non-racist questions here before. and they have been reported and deleted. why? becuase the israelis and jews want to hide the truth. they dont want to be exposed. they want to remain seen as the "innocent victims" while us palestinians are the "big, mean, nasty, heartless terrorists"
we, fight to protect our land.
they fight to steal our land and kill us.
it's that simple....they are thieves and do not deserve palestine's rich soil under their feet. palestine's soil should walk all over them. inshalla, that will happen, when we defeat them and bury them.
palestine is recognized by all arab countries and many other countries throughout the world.
israel is recognized by....the US
now honestly, everyone is shut up because the US is with israel. hopefully, obama may make a change.
OH, i am willing to bet my life that once the US stops supporting israel, israel will fail to exist. we will wipe them straight off the face of this earth.
dont misunderstand me. i interact with jews everyday. but those occupying palestine..... |

you do not need to insist
you can never be more royal than king
see what your historian says
Second Aliyah (1904-1914)
Main article: Second Aliyah
Between 1904 and 1914, 40,000 Jews immigrated mainly from Russia to Palestine following pogroms and outbreaks of anti-semitism in that
they were immigrating to" Palestine " |

Wait until like Jan. 20, 2008. It is the end of an error.
A new leader in the US must have a positive effect on the situation.
Especially a Liberal one who won't just favor one nation over another.
Peace to you, Brother - or Sister. |

Yes I believe that the Palestinians will get half of their country back.
I believe that with the help of all the friendly nations one day eventually they will get the other half back too.
I am afraid the Jews have been proved inadequate to govern a country.
Please don't take me wrong. I am not saying that the Jews will have to leave Palestine.
On the contrary, I believe the Palestinians must keep them as guests and ask them for help to rebuild their beloved country from scratch.
Together as brothers and sisters but without any authority whatsoever.
We have witnessed the American financial disaster because of those careless and simple-minded Jewish Wall-Street gamblers.
I am sure the majority of the Jews acknowledge that and agree with me.

The U.S. will hopefully see to the establishment of Palestine in what are now called the Palestinian Territories. Unfortunately this will involve a U.S.-backed Fatah coup d'etat against what is left of the elected government, but at least they will have independence, plus it will provide them with a base of operation other than Syria and southern Lebanon. It's a step forward. |

I agree with Bahira. The price of an independent rump republic will be a regime subservient to the U.S. but that circumstance can change over time. The important thing is to establish Palestine on the Palestinian Territories. This will also assist the understanding ability of our super-intelligent jewish participants who think the historical name of the region is a town in Texas. Dumber than dumb is that indeed. |

Yes,I think we will see the emergence of more concern and support particularly with respect to Gaza,on the part of Canada,Scandanavia and Europe. I also expect the izzies to attack Iran and end up taking a much worse pounding themselves. Hopefully this will not result in too many Iranian deaths and will greatly strengthen the Palestinian position. |

Within the next 10 years.....a high probability of a war (full blown possibly) between Israel and Lebanon. The only country that is preventing this currently is the USA. Otherwise, there won't be much progress in the region, because I see Israelis and Palestinian Arabs as having he same history and background. Jews were always persecuted by the world, while the Palestinian arabs were always persecuted by Egyptians (modern) and Bedoin arabs (since they believe they are the true arabs, which they probably are who knows). Therefore I think the world should leave us jews and palestinians arabs alone. |

There never has been a "country" called Palestine -- ever. The land was originally called Israel, then a Muslim invasion renamed it Palestine. Then, after WWII, the United Nations voted to share the land between Muslims and Jews. The Muslims refused and have refused peace every time it was offered to them.
It would be "nice" if the Arabs would simply accept peace. |

Winter is coming to Palestine. All the tomatoes ( major crop) have been picked and the farmers or turning over the earth for next years planting.
The lakes or clearer and crisper and the fish just don't bite in cold fresh water.
The fall semester is in full swing and the kids are all looking forward to Christmas.
Lots of traffic to Dallas for shopping.
With the world food supply so low the farmers of central and east Texas are looking forward to a good year in 2009.
BTW the football team is always tough. Farm boys.
I lived down the road about 75 miles most of my life and except for the militant groups you can get along with anyone.
The hunting is spectacular. The deer are so thick you can't come home empty handed if you know anything about hunting. If you don't go shoot and eat some a lot will starve they are so plentiful.
Visit East Texas you will love it there . Anywhere close to Palestine. |

dear 9(s&su)(psm) john e oh dear oh dear where to start?
Before Israel was granted its independence from the U.N. in 1948, "Palestine" was a British Mandate agreed upon after the First World War.
The first reference to the Palestinians, without qualifying them as Arabs, is to be found in a document of the Permanent Executive Committee, composed of Muslims and Christians, presenting a series of formal complaints to the British authorities on 26 July 1928 (quoted from Wikipedia).
The Jews have had a recorded presence in Israel for over 2,000 years.
The majority of Arabs who lived in Israel before its independence only settled in the country at the beginning of the 20th century, the same time that the Jews started to come back to Israel. The Arabs came because they knew that there would be work since the Jews were developing Israel. This was preferable to living in slums and starving in their own countries.
With regards to governing the country. So what are you suggesting? That we take as examples the wonderful democratic dictatorships of Syria? Iran? Saudi Arabia? Thanks, we prefer our slightly corrupt but openly democratic government for now.
You make a very racist and inflamatory remark regarding Wall Street. Are we to understand that there are no Muslims working on Wall Street? Dare we suggest that maybe Muslim gamblers have something to do with the financial crisis? After all, dont the Muslims hate America? These are all stupid and ignorant statement, ours included, very childish. What do you think about the astronimical price of oil? Maybe that has had some influence? And who controls that?
After 60 years and numerous wars, the Arabs have still not accepted the fact that Israel is on the map and is staying.
If our neighbors would like to live in peace with Israel, we will be more than happy to do so, but dont take this as a weakness, we will never again be led to the gas chambers.
To sum up, I would suggest you read some history regarding 20th century Middle East. |

To answer your question is, for anything nice to happen in a place , there has to be a place, i have googled and there is no country named palestine.
Did you mean the west bank? you can Drive past a date palm plantation in the Jordan Valley.
Desert landscape and palm trees and the moon rising over Jordan and the hot desert air....aaaaahhh , you can also visit Al-Haram al-Ibrahimi..Mosque. Al-Khalil, as Hebron is called in Arabic, means 'The Friend of God'. In ancient times it was known as Mamre and Kirjath Arba, 'The town of four' because of its position on four hills. Situated at an altitude of 3,000 feet, Hebron has been continuously settled for at least 5,000 years. It is regarded as holy by Muslims, Jews and Christians alike because the Patriarch Abraham is buried there. Wadi Kelt is very close to Jericho, St Georges Monastery Clings to the cliff overlooking the Wadi (valley).
There was first a building on this site early in the 4th century AD. The first building named after St George was in the 5th century. The Monastery has had quite a turbulent history with being taken by one or another, Persians, Crusaders, Hermits, and finally Greek Orthodox Monks laid claim and restored the buildings in the early 20th century.
Apart from the buildings & views, there are paintings, icons, Tomb of St George to be seen, plus the skulls of the 14 Monks who were murdered here by the Persians. .
Did you by any chance mean, palestine texas? you will get a better response in the usa travel section. |
