Yup i have many thoughts always fighting in my mind, but nothing i want to or can share here on YA.

An image, my daughter's eyes the first time she opened them and looked at me when she was born.

A song, well several, i love Gesmey's ba7ebek wa7esteeny and i play it to death. I love Fares Karam tanoura and 7'etyar 3la 3okazo, i die from laughter when i imagine them, he is really funny by the way, and i love the A La Menthe, the sound track of Oceans 12, it gets me going like the energizer bunny. They r haunting me in a good way though.

Sometimes it's an idea or I happen to come upon a movie. Then I want to find all the information I can about this situation and I will read and read. Another thing I do is try to find out of print books. Someone I know will say "back in the day I read x but you can't get that book anymore." First thing I do is check Amazon.com. Nobody is going to tell me I can't have this book. Then I get it and read it and sometimes it gives me ideas to read something else.

When my husband and I went to Las Vegas a month ago, I told him that we have to stay at Luxor hotel since he won't let me fly to Egypt or I don't want to go there at all! I am currently learning Egyptian Arabic. ("Ana baharif shweyet Arabi" I am still on the first CD...lol!) When people ask me where I am from, I tell them that I am Masria. I have an Eye of Ra tattoo on my neck. My MP3 has nothing but Amr Diab's songs. I always wear my Isis necklace at work. Our car has a bubblehead Pharoah on the dash board. My favorite sweatshirt is a white one with the word Egypt on it. I hang out in this section. Would you consider that as an obsession?

I cannot shake the feeling that there is a very strange change in the energy of this world,things are getting worse environmentally,and morality is decreasing all around us.Life is getting faster and people are becoming more and more isolated.I am always thinking and getting a sense that the world is headed in the wrong direction,I question myself over and over if I am on the right path,I re-evaluate myself all the time.I guess I am always worrying about the future of this world and humanity in general.I cannot get it out of my mind that how bad things have become.Every time I turn on the news,or read the world events occuring around the world I am so shocked and saddened.I cannot help but feel there is such a need and a lack for Love within this world.And I feel as if its our duty to help make lasting changes. ~Tarre
