HAHAHA, PINKY, ya Pinky, remeber when you post a question, everyone can see it in the main, so many people will answer regardless if they know the issue or not :) so dont get mad at them, it seems that really you life is not back to normal, but anways, live your life, you are too young to have a nervous breakdown honey...
And take it in a good way, you have extra holidays so extra sleep, in doha we have 3 holidays all year , Ramadan holiday, independence day and one more day i dont know what's it about...

What happened there (I'm not from Lebanon) was, for me, just a drop in a filled cup... The world has gone real mad, and I knew it long before the February tragedy! What can I say, just try to live a normal life, according to your possibilities and wishes - there must be a reason why you and all other people are where you are - there has to be a meaning!

Did we forget how the "brotherly" occupation was treating Lebanon?

But in any case, my life stopped being "normal" one morning in 1975 when it was decided that it was too dangerous for me to go to school like every morning.

okay, I don't even live in Lebanon, but Feb 14, 2005 was a critial point that changed the situation in the middle east region, especially that it was asynchorizly with Iraq war, then followed by Israeli war against Lebanon. Can't you see guys that the question might be better asked in other ways, may we should ask: what is going to happen? or, what is the equation now? because everything has changed since then.

Hesbollah, (I'm not with nor against Hisbollah) but this party has got a high reputation in the region.

I don't want to say everything, any way, I love Lebanon, I wish if this happens to anywhere but not Beirut, I want to say something for you Lebanese, and I really mean it, if lebanese were not arab, I think the image of arab in the world would have been quiet darker. I just want to tell you that in the eye of arab you are the symbol of brightness, art, ...etc. I've to Britain, I met many ppl from the world, the only bright things they know about arab, they knew it from lebanese ppl.

Yes, I think your right after Feb. 14th 2005 my life changed and Lebanon has changed. I think the only good thing which happened to Lebanon after this day is the withdrawal of the syrian army from Lebanon. The bad thing is the summer war. Also another bad thing is the fight between the Lebanese govt. supporters and the Lebanese opposition. I think these things made it worst for Lebanon has Lebanon also in the last summer war has lost million of dollars instead of having the tourism and gain money.

Of course it's not back to normal...It won't be normal again until all issues are resolved...maybe I won't get to be here though when it gets "normal" cuz when I was born it was like that too...maybe my great grand children will live in a normal Lebanon

well since that day we've been on edge and have not had a normal and stable 24 hours. We're always scared whenever one of the politicians says something and are constantly under threat.. Not to mention bombings every once in a while and protests, tents, street fights.. Please remind me, are we living in Lebanon or Palestine?????

On the 14th of February 2005, former Lebanese Prime Minister Mr. Rafic Hariri, his personal bodyguards and passing citizens were the victims of a huge terrorist explosion that claimed the life of 18 martyrs including Mr. Hariri. Hundreds were injured in the explosion.
May God save Lebanon from the terrorists of Hezbollah.
