If it was a part of Syria before 1920, it's not anymore. And making Lebanon part of Syria will not make things better because the Lebanese who have different mentalities than the Syrians will make CHAOS in Syria and will start milicias and take over the power and make Syria into a bigger Lebanon. I don't think Syria will be happy with that.

No!!!!!!!! what the hell r u talking' about? haven't u known that Lebanon is a country by itself. before, it was Phoenicia, and then, i mean like 3000 BC, Lebanon and Syria were combined 2 form this country, then under the Ottoman rule, Lebanon was separated and some of his parts were combined with Syria, and 2 be more specific, even Syria was divided into about 5 parts, called in Arabic "wilaya", and they're like states, on each a responsible. after the end of the Ottoman ruling, Lebanon got his missing parts again and got his Independence first, before Syria. then, no, Lebanon isn't a part of Syria, these 2 countries are side by side but none is part of the other, the 2 countries are separated & independant
